camping-backpack-campfire-and-mug-repeat-all-over-print
Camping Backpack – Campfire and Mug Repeat All-Over Print

A small fire, a warm mug, and the same good morning repeated all over.

This camping backpack is covered in a repeat of two icons every camper knows by heart: a campfire and a steaming mug. Underneath the pattern it is a medium-size pack for daily use, the kind that carries a laptop on Friday and a spare sweater to the campground on Saturday.

The design: Campfire and Mug Repeat

Each motif pairs two flat icons. On the left, a flame in burnt orange with a pale gold center rises over two crossed dark-brown logs. On the right stands a dark-brown mug, its handle turned outward, with two short wavy lines of steam above it. A two-line phrase in brown block capitals sits centered under every pair.

The pairs repeat in staggered rows across a white ground, each row shifted half a step from the last, with plenty of open space between them. There are no outlines and no shading, only three warm tones: coffee brown, burnt orange and tan-gold.

The pattern runs over the front panel, the front pocket, both sides, the top and the base, while the mesh back panel, the shoulder straps and the top handle are solid black and frame it. It is a quiet nod to the nicest part of a day outdoors: the logs have caught, the drink is hot and nobody has checked the time yet.

An everyday camping backpack: fabric, pockets and straps

Made from water-resistant 100% polyester, 9 oz/yd² (305 g/m²), to protect what you pack from the weather

Your 15″ laptop slides into its own compartment within the large inside pocket, apart from lunch and layers

Two zip pockets sit outside the main one: a front pocket for a phone and snacks, and a hidden pocket on the back of the bag for a wallet or keys

Both sliders on the top zipper have pullers, so the bag opens from the left, the right or the middle

Padded shoulder straps and a soft mesh panel cushion the carry, and the inside is lined with a smooth, silky fabric

Rated for loads up to 44 lb (20 kg); the outside measures 16⅛″ × 12¼″ × 3⅞″ (41 × 31 × 10 cm)

Who it's for

Weekend campers, campground hosts, cabin regulars and coffee-before-anything people who would rather be outside. It works for the office commute, a day on campus, a gym session or an overnight at a friend's place by the lake. Give it for a birthday, as a going-away present before a summer of road trips, or at the holidays.

Quick answers

Is it meant for multi-day hiking?

It is a medium-size backpack for daily use and sports activities, with a camping theme in the print. For a long trek with a tent and a stove you would want a larger technical pack; this one handles day trips and the commute.

What happens if I get caught in the rain?

A light shower is what the water-resistant material is there for. In long, heavy rain, give the bag a cover or head for shelter, since water-resistant is a step short of fully rainproof.

Do the straps adjust?

Yes. Plastic sliders on each strap let you shorten or lengthen them, so the bag can sit high for a bike ride or lower for a walk.

What if it picks up dirt at the campsite?

Go over the spot gently with a damp cloth and let the bag air-dry before you pack it again.

Shipping and returns

Free US shipping.
