The After Hours artwork turns that late, quiet table into a small moonlit scene, with the black glaze standing in for the night.

The artwork: a moonlit table after hours

MAHJONG stands across the top in tall, narrow ivory capitals. Below it, an arched blue window holds a crescent moon and a small hanging lamp over a teal table, where four rows of tiles wait between two blue chairs, with a leafy potted plant at the side. AFTER HOURS runs underneath in the same ivory capitals. On the 11 oz the window scene is about 2.2 inches wide and 2.6 inches tall; on the 15 oz it grows to about 2.4 by 2.8 inches.

Made for the late table

Glossy black ceramic, as dark as the window in the art, so the moon and ivory letters stand out.

11 oz: 3.85 in (9.8 cm) tall and 3.35 in (8.5 cm) across, enough tea for the last few hands.

15 oz: 4.7 in (12 cm) tall at the same 3.35 in (8.5 cm) width, for a game that runs well past bedtime.

Safe in the dishwasher and the microwave, so a midnight reheat takes a minute.

Lead and BPA-free material for those quiet after-hours sips.

Who it's for

The friend who says "just one more round" at eleven, the night owl who keeps a pot of tea going through the last hand and anyone who treats a late mahjong game as their own quiet world.
