Van parked, roof popped, peaks straight ahead.

Camping: Nature's Therapy is a camping throw pillow with a small line drawing of a pop-top camper van under mountain peaks, set in the middle of a white cover. Keep it on the couch for the weeks between trips, or send it to someone who has just signed for a cabin.

The design: a pop-top camper under one sharp peak

Everything here is drawn in thin black outline, with no fill and no color. A camper van stands side-on, nose to the right, its roof lifted into a slanted wedge. You can count three side windows, the outline of a sliding door and two wheels resting on a straight ground line, with a short dashed line beneath it. A small pine tree marks each end of that line.

Behind the van rises a mountain range: one tall, pointed summit in the center and lower ridges falling away left and right, shaded with a few slope strokes. A round sun sits above the summit, a flat-bottomed cloud floats on either side of it, and three birds cross the sky as quick v-shaped marks.

Under the scene, two lines of black brush script read "Camping: nature's therapy". The drawing and the lettering are grouped at the center and the rest of the cover stays plain, so the pillow looks more like a page torn from a trip sketchbook than a souvenir. Anyone who has slid a van door open onto a cold, bright morning will know the view.

What comes in the box, and how it cleans up

• Cover and insert are each made of 100% polyester
• The cover fabric comes in at 220–250 g/m² (6.49–7.37 oz/yd²)
• The insert is already inside, so there is no filler to shop for, and it holds its shape after an evening of being leaned on
• The zipper is hidden in a seam, which keeps the closure out of sight and still lets the cover come off
• When it needs a wash, unzip it, pull the insert out and put the cover in the washing machine; the insert is washed by hand

Who it's for

Weekend campers, van travelers, RV owners and anyone who keeps a packed duffel by the door from May to October. It belongs on a living-room sofa, a cabin couch, the bench seat inside a camper or a guest bed. Give it for a cabin housewarming, the birthday of the friend with the van, a send-off before a long road trip, or as a holiday present for the family's trip planner.

Quick answers

Does the print cover the whole pillow?

No. On the two square pillows the drawing and words fill roughly the central half of the front, and the fabric around them is left plain.

Is anything cut off on the wide 20″×12″ shape?

Nothing. The whole design is printed at a smaller scale on that pillow, so the van, the trees, the sky details and the full lettering all appear complete.

Can I take it to the campsite?

It is a decorative pillow for indoor rooms. It carries no weather rating and is not a sleeping pillow for a tent, so let it wait on the sofa until you are back.

How exact are the listed dimensions?

Each pillow is measured lying flat, and a finished one can differ from the chart by up to 1″ (2.5 cm).
