A cat in a headset, three stacked books and a whole lot of cozy.

Meet a cute cat mug for people who game, read and linger over a hot drink in about equal measure. Fill it at the desk for a long session, or keep it on the shelf for the evening you finally finish that chapter.

The design: Cozy Grind Mode, cat on a book pile

A chubby cream-and-ginger cat lies across the middle of the mug, front paws draped over a stack of three closed hardcovers with green, teal and red spines banded in gold. Its face is cream with ginger stripes running over the head and back, the eyes are big, round and wide open, and a small smile sits under them. A dark grey-teal headset with a little boom mic hugs its ears, and a fluffy tail curls around the front of the pile. Tufts of dark green grass and a thin black ground line anchor the scene.

The words Cozy Grind Mode arch over the cat in white bubble letters with a black outline, and three coral Z's shrink away toward the upper right, as if sleep is a few minutes off. Small gold four-point sparkles and dots float around the cat. Bold black outlines and a palette of cream, ginger, teal, green, red, gold and coral give it a cartoon sticker look on the white ceramic.

The headset is the gaming cue and the books are the reading cue, so the mug suits someone who plays, studies and relaxes in the same chair.

Glossy ceramic with the cat on both sides

• Sturdy, glossy white ceramic for daily coffee, tea or cocoa
• Safe in the microwave and the dishwasher, and the vivid print is made to handle both
• The cat is printed on each side of the mug, so it faces you whichever hand you pick the handle up with
• The art is centered and about two-thirds as tall as the mug, which leaves the rim and handle clear

Who it's for

Made for cozy gamers, bookworms and cat people, and especially the ones who are all three. It suits a student with a headset on during finals week, a remote worker who wants a softer mug at the desk, or anyone building a reading corner. Give it as a birthday present, a housewarming gift or a holiday swap present.

Quick answers

Is the cat asleep?

Not yet. Its eyes are wide open, and the three Z's show it is a few minutes from drifting off. The mood is relaxed rather than sleepy.

Do the books carry titles?

No. They are three plain hardcovers with colored spines and gold bands, so no author, series or story is named on the mug.

Which size should I pick?

The 11 oz is a regular cup, and the 15 oz holds four ounces more. The 20 oz is the widest but a little shorter than the 15 oz, so the size guide lists the exact height and width of each.

Is this a character from a game or show?

No. The cat is an original RaZits drawing, with no franchise character, logo or game name, so it works for any cozy gamer or reader.
