Swap four walls for a tent and a stand of tall pines.
This outdoorsy shirt for men carries a round camp badge with a tent pitched in the pines, made for the guy who gets restless indoors and feels most at home at a campsite. It’s a light cotton tee for weekends outside and an easy pick for anyone who keeps the next trip half planned.
The design: a campsite inside a ring of words
Everything sits inside one circle, printed in a single dark navy ink and drawn like a patch you might stitch onto a backpack. A thick outer ring frames it, and just inside that ring a line of bold capitals runs clockwise around the circle: I DON’T DO WELL IN CAGES. LET’S GO ON AN ADVENTURE, finished with an exclamation point at the lower right.
In the middle stands a small forest of pines and firs, one tall tree rising above the rest with shorter ones on either side. In front of them, a pitched A-frame tent rests on a flat strip of earth, its guy lines pegged out and ready for the night. There are no mountains, no sunrise and no road in the picture, just the trees, the tent and the words wrapped around them.
Think of it as a trail-club crest that says what plenty of campers feel by Thursday afternoon: the office, the commute and the living room are fine, but the good part of the week starts where the tent goes up. Adventure isn’t optional — it’s essential.
An outdoorsy shirt light enough for camp weekends
- 100% cotton in every shirt color, with a soft, natural hand next to bare skin
- Lightweight knit, 4.2 oz/yd² (142 g/m²), that feels easy on a sunny afternoon at the site and layers under a fleece when the fire burns low
- Cotton that has been shrunk before it is cut, so it keeps more of its size through regular laundry
- Behind the collar, a length of tape bridges the two shoulders so that seam lies flat and neat
- Tear-away label: snap it off at camp and there’s no tag left to itch
- Care is simple: cold machine wash with the shirt turned inside out, a low tumble dry or a clothesline, and no bleach or high heat
Who it's for
Tent sleepers, backcountry hikers, troop leaders and anyone who checks the weather at the campground before the one at home. Wear it to pitch the tent, around the fire ring, on the road to the state park, or to a Monday meeting when your head is still at the lake. As a free spirit shirt with a wink at desk life, it makes one of the easier outdoorsy gifts for a camper’s birthday, Father’s Day or the holidays, and one of the few camping gifts that suits the guy who already owns all the gear.
Quick answers
Which size should I order?
It’s a men’s tee. Grab a tee you already wear a lot, measure it pit to pit and collar seam to hem, then find the closest row in the size guide next to the size options.
Does the badge print on the back too?
No. All of the art lives in one spot, centered high on the front; the reverse side carries no print at all.
Is the navy ink easy to see on every shirt color?
The words stay readable on all of them. The badge stands out most on the palest shirt; on the deepest, warmest shade the navy blends in a little more, so the emblem looks softer there.
Can the fabric look see-through?
This light knit can look a little sheer on the palest shade, mostly in bright sun. A plain undershirt or one of the bolder shades takes care of that.
