Last heart on the counter. Play it like it matters.
When the counter drops to one, players sit up straighter, and this pixel decal bottles that feeling: 1 Life Left, a short pep line in 8-bit capitals framed by hearts and coins. Keep it where you work or play, or mail it to a friend with a big day coming.
The design: 1 Life Left, ringed by hearts and coins
Four short rows of squared-off pixel capitals occupy the middle. The upper two are the larger pair, in yellow-gold with a black pixel outline and a matching shadow dropped behind; the lower two are slightly smaller, in white with a thick black outline. Read top to bottom, the lettering says “1 LIFE LEFT- MAKE IT COUNT”, small dash included.
A frame of pixel icons runs around the words. The hearts are red with a pink highlight at the upper left and come in two sizes; the coins are round and gold, with a darker rim and a short bar in the middle. Hearts line the top, hearts and coins take turns down both sides, and a coin holds each bottom corner. No panel sits behind any of it, so white shows between the icons.
Anyone raised on 8-bit games knows the mood. The reserve is gone, the hands get careful and every move suddenly matters. Away from the screen it reads as a nudge before a deadline, a final exam or an ordinary Monday: this is the try you have, so use it well.
Pixel decal basics: the cut, the vinyl, the prep
- Kiss-cut around the outline of the art: a thin white border follows each heart, each coin and the block of lettering
- You cannot see through the vinyl, so a dark lid or a retired sticker stays hidden behind it
- Quick, easy application, with the bubbles left out
- Regular handling is fine: the vinyl is durable
- Dust and grease off first: clean the surface, then apply
Who it's for
Speedrunners, retro collectors, students in finals week and anyone who does their sharpest work with the pressure on. In our photos it rides on a laptop lid; a notebook cover, a binder or a game-storage box would suit it too. Send it with a good-luck card before an exam, a tournament or a job interview, or leave one on a teammate's desk in crunch week.
Quick answers
Will I get a wide strip if I choose 15″×3.75″?
No. The design keeps its near-square shape on every option. The three square options give you a sticker about 3″, about 4″ and about 5½″ wide, while 15″×3.75″ carries a single block of about 3¾″ (9.5 cm) in height, centered on its sheet.
Is it taken from a particular game?
No. Hearts for lives and coins for score are icons that countless old games shared, and these are drawn in a plain 8-bit style with no character or logo. Any player can read it as their own.
Why is there a dash after LEFT?
It belongs to the artwork. The small dash works like a pause between the status line and the pep line, the way an old game screen might split a message in two.
Where should it not go?
Skip anything that gets soaked, scrubbed or parked outside. We can't vouch for the vinyl against water or weather, so dry, indoor things are the right home for it.
