The design: a cracked trophy that keeps growing

Proof of Completion puts a white ceramic trophy cup inside a glass display case, set in an ornate gold frame that stands on the polished wood floor of a dim hall. The cup is badly cracked, with dark fissures and a few square, pixel-like chips knocked out of it. Its stem is a glowing green sprout with small leaves, rising from a white octagonal pedestal packed with glowing green pixel cubes, and a tiny dark-green blocky sprite is printed on the front of the pedestal.

White strip lights shine down from above, green light spills across the floor, and more gilt frames hang along the side walls, each holding a dark panel of blurred text. A small brass plaque is fixed to the bottom of the central frame. The whole scene is rendered in 3D to look almost like a photograph, with pixel-art touches in the cubes, the chips and the sprite.

You finished things. The world rarely noticed. This print is the notice. The trophy has taken some knocks, and something new is growing out of it anyway, which is how the end of a long game really feels: a little battered, quietly proud and ready for whatever you start next.
