The screen begged you not to.

This typography poster turns the most stressful line in retro gaming into an editorial print for the wall. It’s an original RaZits illustration for retro gamers and console collectors who remember holding their breath, and it makes an easy gift for anyone who still won’t touch the power button mid-save.

The design: one warning, rendered as a typography poster

A retro “DO NOT TURN OFF POWER” warning rendered as editorial typography — the small public service announcement that taught patience the hard way. Restrained palette.

You always waited it out — never once cut the power early. This one line still knows the feeling: don’t move, don’t breathe, let it finish.

Who it's for

Retro gamers, console collectors, and typographic-minded gamers who still remember the tension of that one warning line. It works in a game room, a designer studio, or any wall that likes restraint, and makes an easy gift for a gamer’s birthday or a housewarming.

Quick answers

Is the warning from a specific console or game?

No — it’s an original RaZits illustration inspired by the universal save-screen warning, not a screenshot or licensed asset from any single console or game.

How do I display it without a frame?

It ships unframed, so you choose the framing yourself — a simple black or white frame suits the restrained palette, or hang it bare with poster strips or clips for a minimal look.

Which size should I choose?

Desk and shelf: 5×7, 8×10, 10×10. Standard wall: 11×14, 12×12, 12×16, 12×18, 14×14, 16×16, 16×20. Statement wall: 18×18, 18×24, 20×30, A1, A2, 24×36.

Will it arrive in time for a gift?

Each poster is made to order, not pulled off a shelf, so check the delivery window under Shipping and returns and build in a few extra days before a fixed date.
