The cartridge held the memory — yours, not just the game's.
This gaming bedroom decor poster shows an oversized game cartridge opened up like a dollhouse, with a tiny, warmly lit childhood bedroom tucked inside, for every player whose first save file was made in a room just like it. It's original RaZits art and a thoughtful gift for the retro gamer who still remembers the rug they sat on to play.
The design: a childhood bedroom inside a floating game cartridge
A single cartridge, blown up to giant size, hovers just above a patch of dark, gritty ground. Its grey plastic shell is dusty and scuffed, with a recessed panel on top and ribbed grip ridges at one end, and its labels are written in the language of memory rather than franchise: a yellow-and-red label, a white one with blue lettering and a tiny cartoon mascot, and a yellow sticker. The front of the shell has been cut clean away, and underneath, a crumbly, rock-like crust drips toward the ground.
Inside, a whole bedroom glows in warm lamplight. A wooden bed with a rumpled white blanket stands against striped, doodled wallpaper hung with framed pictures and a little red-and-white notice. A cream-shaded lamp burns on the bedside table next to a small lime-green box. Across the room, a beige CRT TV flickers with a bright, slightly glitchy picture in blues, pinks and orange, perched on a wooden stand whose shelves hold books and tapes, while a round-faced cartoon poster hangs on the far wall. A red patterned rug covers the floor, and toys are everywhere: small figures by the bed and in the corner, scattered blocks in green, orange and pink, stacked boxes and a pile of books and magazines.
Outside, the glow fades into a dark teal haze with warm orange lights blurring in the distance, and a tiny dome-topped toy sits forgotten in the grit at the lower left. It's a time capsule lit like a relic, the whole hobby compressed into one object: the room where you played, kept safe inside the thing you played. You don't have to play the game anymore. The artifact does enough.

Who it's for
Retro gamers who had a TV of their own growing up, parents now handing the controller to their kids, and anyone who keeps a soft spot for the room they grew up in. It belongs in a gaming bedroom, a teen's room, a game room or a home office with a console on the shelf, and it makes a warm retro video game gift for a birthday, a housewarming, the holidays or a bedroom makeover.
Quick answers
Is the cartridge from a real game?
No. The shell is generic, with no logo, and every label, the wall notice and the poster carry made-up lettering that can't be read. The toys aren't known characters and the TV shows an invented picture, so it fits whatever you grew up playing.
Is it a drawing or a photo?
It's artwork with the look of a close-up photo of a real miniature model: shallow focus, soft blurred lights in the background and real-looking dust, wood grain and fabric. From across the room it reads like a real little room hanging on your wall.
Do the squares show more of the cartridge?
Yes. The five square sizes show the whole shell end to end, including the ribbed grip and two small lit openings on the right, with more ground below. Portrait sizes crop both ends of the cartridge, but the full bedroom stays in view on every size.
Which size lets the tiny details show?
The toys, the lamp and the TV picture are small, so 20″×30″ (50.8 × 76.2 cm) or 24″×36″ (61.0 × 91.4 cm) shows them best above a bed or desk. On a nightstand or shelf, 8″×10″ (20.3 × 25.4 cm) still keeps the glowing room clear.
