Happy Bean has one job on this cute coffee sticker, and it is to grin: a roasted coffee bean with a face, caught with both arms in the air. Nothing is written on it, so coffee drinkers, baristas and café regulars can let the bean say good morning for them.

Up close: one bean, mid-cheer

The character is an upright oval coffee bean in warm brown, shaded darker along its edge, with a bold S-shaped crease down the middle and two white shine marks near the top. Its face has two large round eyes with white highlights, short curved eyebrows, pink oval cheeks and an open smile with a hint of pink tongue.

Thin stick arms reach out to both sides with the hands spread open, the pose of someone shouting ta-da. Two short legs end in small black feet, planted over a flat oval shadow. Above the head, wavy steam lines rise as if the bean had only just left the roaster.
