Description

One arched jukebox, a ring of flames and the music still playing.

Flaming Jukebox Glow is jukebox art for anyone whose favorite room always has a song on: a neon-lit jukebox rises out of orange flames against a dark night background. Its heavy matte paper keeps those electric colors bold without shine, and it makes a lively gift for anyone who always claims the next song.

The design: a song machine that runs hot

At the center stands a classic arched jukebox, drawn the way most people picture one: a rounded top with a half-dial window, glowing tubes of orange, pink and purple tracing its curves, teal pillars down each side, a teal panel of small selection slots and a pink diamond-lattice speaker grille in the middle.

Orange-red flames lick up around its base, and the machine stands on a pink grid floor that runs off toward the horizon. Four gold music notes float beside it, two on each side, with tiny gold and teal four-point sparkles scattered through the dark navy sky.

Across the top, two stacked words in slanted chrome capitals shift from pink to teal, set over a thin teal triangle outline crossed by pink speed lines. The whole piece borrows the glow-line style of retro-80s neon art, so it feels like a song you know by heart turned up loud.

Thick matte paper that lets the neon do the talking

  • 16 sizes in two shapes: eleven portrait sizes from 5″×7″ (12.7 × 17.8 cm) to 24″×36″ (61.0 × 91.4 cm), A2 (16.5″×23.3″, 41.9 × 59.2 cm) and A1 (23.3″×33.1″, 59.2 × 84.1 cm) among them, plus five squares from 10″×10″ (25.4 × 25.4 cm) to 18″×18″ (45.7 × 45.7 cm)
  • Enhanced matte paper at 189 g/m² and 10.3 mil, sturdy in the hand, with a flat finish that keeps lamp glare off the navy background
  • An opacity rating of 94% keeps the wall behind from showing through the dark sky
  • A 104% ISO brightness rating gives the pink, orange and teal tubes a clean white base, so the colors read bright and true
  • The paper is sourced from Japan
  • Ships unframed, so you choose the frame or hanging style that suits your room

Who it's for

Music lovers who remember feeding coins into a jukebox, fans of bright retro-80s art and anyone putting together a music room, a basement den, a game room or a teen bedroom with some color. It also makes a ready present for anyone with a speaker setup that deserves a backdrop.

Quick answers

Is the jukebox a real model?

No. It's an illustration in the classic arched shape, not a copy of any maker's machine, so it stands for the whole jukebox era rather than one brand.

Is anything lost on the square sizes?

Only a sliver of dark sky at the top and bottom goes. The lettering, the jukebox, the gold notes and the flames all stay in view.

Which size suits a music room?

Above a couch or a long console, 24″×36″ (61.0 × 91.4 cm) or 20″×30″ (50.8 × 76.2 cm) makes the neon the focal point. Beside a speaker stack or on a short wall, 8″×10″ (20.3 × 25.4 cm) or the 12″×12″ (30.5 × 30.5 cm) square fits well.

Does it glow in the dark?

No. The glow is part of the drawing: neon tubes and flames printed in vivid color on matte paper. A warm lamp nearby makes the pinks and oranges look their liveliest.
