A spotted stag, a slow blue stream and a sky turning lavender.

This deer wall art brings a quiet pixel-art forest to your wall: a spotted stag wading at the end of a stream that winds through a green meadow between tall pines. An original piece of RaZits art, it makes a welcome surprise for anyone who feels at home on a walk in the woods.

The design: a stag wading where the meadow stream ends

A stag with branched antlers stands in shallow water at the left of a small pool, facing right. His reddish-brown coat is dotted with white spots along the back and flanks, above a pale chest. The pool is fed by a blue stream that curls down from the forest in lazy S-bends, cutting through a bright green meadow between dark earth banks, with little glints of light on the water.

Tiny orange buds shaped like hearts rise on thin stems across the grass, a single white puff flower sits on the right bank at the stream's middle bend, and leafy shrubs fill the bottom corners. Tall dark-green pines with brown trunks stand on both sides, smaller pines fade into the middle distance, and misty teal-blue hills roll away behind them. Above, the sky is banded lavender at the top, then pink and peach, softening to a pale cream glow at the horizon.

Every trunk, ripple and petal is built from visible square pixels, the blocky look that once painted the forests of classic video games, used here for a view with no score to chase and nowhere you have to be. There are no people, buildings or words in the art. The soft palette and geometric charm invite relaxation, a small reminder to pause and breathe between adventures.

Who it's for

Nature lovers, hikers, deer and woodland-animal fans, and gamers with a soft spot for pixel art. Quick answers

Did this scene come from a game?

No. It isn't a screenshot, map or location from any game, and nothing in it is borrowed from one, so it reads just as well to someone who has never played.

How much of the forest does each size show?

The five squares keep the full width, with every pine on both sides. On the portrait sizes the outermost pines along both side edges are cut off, while the stag, the pool, the stream and the sky are there whatever size you pick.

What size suits a nightstand, and what suits the wall over a bed?

On a nightstand, an 8″×10″ (20.3 × 25.4 cm) adds a small, calm touch. Over a headboard, 18″×24″ (45.7 × 61.0 cm) or the larger 20″×30″ (50.8 × 76.2 cm) lets the whole forest spread out.

Which frame color goes with it?

Natural wood picks up the brown tree trunks and the earthy stream banks, and white keeps the pastel sky airy. 11″×14″ (27.9 × 35.6 cm) and 16″×20″ (40.6 × 50.8 cm) fit many ready-made frames.
