One joystick, one lightning bolt, fully charged.
Most lightning poster designs stop at the bolt, but this one plants a black arcade joystick on top of it and lets pink lightning crackle out to both sides. It prints on thick matte paper in 12 sizes, seven portrait and five square, for a game room that wants one loud neon wall.
The design: a joystick standing in a neon storm
A black joystick with a round ball top and a square base is the centerpiece. It stands on a large teal lightning bolt outlined in glowing pink and white, as if the bolt were its power supply. Forked pink-white lightning branches out to both sides, and glowing teal clouds hang low in the corners.
Below it a pink-lit grid floor runs back to a horizon line, with a bright flare at the bottom edge, all set against a black, starry sky. Across the upper part, bold slanted white capitals with a thick purple outline spell a two-word charge-up call that partly overlaps the bolt.
It is a smooth 80s-style neon illustration with no characters and no pixel art. The palette stays tight: black, neon pink and magenta, teal and white.

- Matte paper, 189 g/m² and 10.3 mil thick, so room lights don't bounce off the black background
- The sheet's 104% ISO brightness gives the pinks and teals a bright base to glow from
- Large black areas stay solid even on a pale wall, thanks to the paper's 94% opacity
- Paper sourced from Japan, shipped unframed so you choose the frame
Who it's for
Arcade regulars, synthwave and 80s-neon fans, streamers building a backdrop and anyone whose game corner needs a single bold piece. It fits above a desk, behind a console shelf, in a teen's bedroom or along a basement bar. Give it for a birthday, a first apartment, a graduation or the holidays.
Quick answers
Is it pixel art or a character poster?
Neither. It is a smooth, 80s-style neon illustration of a joystick, a bolt and a grid floor, with no characters, coins or pixels. It reads as arcade without pointing at any one game.
What changes between the portrait and square sizes?
Only the crop. The square sizes show the same centered joystick and bolt with a little less sky and floor at the top and bottom, and the lettering is never trimmed.
How big should I go for a desk setup?
Behind a monitor or on a shelf wall, 8″×10″ (20.3 × 25.4 cm) or 10″×10″ (25.4 × 25.4 cm) fits well. For a feature wall over a couch or bed, 18″×24″ (45.7 × 61.0 cm) gives the bolt room to dominate.
