A wicker chair, a fig tree and pots of oranges, all squeezed into one sunny corner.

Citrus wall art for people who garden in containers: Fruitful Balcony is a flat illustration of a small balcony where citrus trees, a fig tree and a cushioned wicker chair share the tiles. It is a ready-made present for a balcony gardener, printed on a thick matte sheet.

The design: a tiny balcony grown into a citrus-and-fig garden

The scene is drawn in a flat, modern vector style on a cream sky. A dark-green railing runs across the middle, and the floor is laid with soft peach tiles. On the right, citrus trees heavy with orange fruit stand in terracotta, navy and green pots, with a small herb plant and a wall planter beside them. On the left, a fig tree hangs purple-and-red split figs and a few yellow fruits over a wicker chair with a yellow cushion, next to a round green side table with a small stack of books.

Across the upper half, FRUITFUL sits in thin dark capitals above CORNERS in heavy, rounded dark-green capitals, so the lettering and the railing echo each other. There are no people or animals in the picture, which keeps the chair free for you.

The five square sizes show a wider view of the same scene: terracotta building walls on both sides, a string of warm lights, a lit window and a lemon tree at the far left. The portrait sizes crop in closer on the orange trees and the fig tree. The words stay whole in every size.

Who it's for

Container gardeners, apartment dwellers with a pot or two of herbs, and anyone who daydreams about picking fruit from their own tree. It hangs well over a kitchen table, beside a window seat or in a sunroom. A new home, a Mother's Day gift or a thank-you to a neighbor who waters your plants all fit.

Quick answers

Can I hang it on a real balcony?

Keep it indoors. Paper does not cope with rain or damp, so a sheltered wall such as a sunroom or a kitchen near the window is safer, out of direct sun.

Which size fits a kitchen nook?

A 12″×16″ (30.5 × 40.6 cm) or 11″×14″ (27.9 × 35.6 cm) fills a nook without crowding. For a bare wall above a sofa, 24″×36″ (61.0 × 91.4 cm) lets the trees read from across the room.

Is it a painting or a photo?

Neither. It is a flat vector-style illustration with smooth shapes and crisp edges, so there is no brush texture or photographic detail.

What are A1 and A2?

Metric-style paper sizes. A2 is 16.5″×23.3″ (41.9 × 59.2 cm) and A1 is 23.3″×33.1″ (59.2 × 84.1 cm), both tall portrait formats.
