Old controllers, red string, a magnifying glass and one red stamp: AUTHENTICATED.
This game controller art, The Authentication Board, turns a cork pinboard into an investigator's board for retro gamepads and handheld-style gadgets, made for players who remember every pad they ever held. It's original RaZits art on thick matte paper, and a fun gift for the friend whose old controllers deserve a proper look.
The design: tagged, pinned and stamped
Seen straight on, a cork pinboard sits inside a light natural-wood frame, and everything on it is laid out neat and square. Down the left side and along the bottom, retro game controllers and small gadgets hang from red string threaded through round kraft rings: two black rectangular pads with a green label strip and red buttons, a light blue-gray pad with a black D-pad, a light gray pad with blue and yellow buttons, and a black modern-style pad with a D-pad and a thumbstick. On the right hang a handheld-style device with a pale green screen and two more little gadgets, and a round black badge with a colorful emblem sits high on the left.
Five kraft luggage tags on red string are scattered between them, each carrying a few lines of typewriter-style lettering. In the middle, an open hardback notebook shows a page of small print on one side and a hand-drawn-style map on the other. Below it rest a magnifying glass with a dark wooden handle and a black-and-white quill feather angled toward the black gamepad. To the right, a stack of manila folders carries a worn red rubber stamp reading AUTHENTICATED, and pinned over them at the top right is a white-bordered instant photo of a dark arcade cabinet, its edges lit in neon red-orange, with two glowing blue joysticks and R.A.Z. on its marquee.
Two lines of italic serif lettering run along the top and bottom of the wood frame. The look is a soft, lifelike 3D render under even, warm daylight, in cork brown and kraft tan, natural wood, black and gray plastics and red accents, with a small flash of neon red and blue in the arcade snapshot.
Anyone who held on to their old controllers has run this check in their head: which pad came from which era, which one still works, which one you'd never part with. This board pins it all up, tags it, looks at it closely and gives it the stamp.

Quick answers
Can you read the writing on the board?
Only in part. AUTHENTICATED on the red stamp and R.A.Z. on the arcade marquee are clear. The notes on the luggage tags and the two lines along the frame are decorative typewriter- and serif-style lettering that doesn't spell out real words.
Does it show any brand or game logo?
No. The controllers and gadgets carry no brand, logo or game name, and nothing on the board names a console. Their shapes span several eras, from flat rectangular pads to a modern pad with a thumbstick, so it suits whatever you grew up playing.
Do the square sizes show more of the board?
Yes. The five squares show the whole board, with the wood frame on all four sides and both lines of lettering complete. Portrait sizes trim the sides; the narrowest formats also cut the edges of the arcade photo, the stamp and the lettering.
Which size suits a desk, and which a big wall?
For a desk or shelf, 8″×10″ (20.3 × 25.4 cm) or 11″×14″ (27.9 × 35.6 cm). Over a sofa or a sideboard, 18″×24″ (45.7 × 61.0 cm) gives the scene room to carry the wall.
Will it glare in a sunny room?
Very little. The matte surface scatters light instead of mirroring it, so the scene stays easy to see from across the room. Hang it out of direct sun all the same; any print is happiest in the shade.
