One cartridge, drawn up like a prized exhibit and lit from above.
This retro game poster turns a single game cartridge into a blueprint-style technical drawing, standing under glass with every part labeled. It opens the RaZits Cartridge Codex series, comes made to order on heavy matte stock, and makes a fun present for anyone who still remembers blowing into the slot.
The design: a blueprint cartridge in a glass cylinder
The whole sheet is drawn like an engineering blueprint: cream line work on deep cobalt blue with a faint grid, framed by a double cream rule with small square medallions in each corner and a worn tan edge that gives it an aged-paper look. In the middle, a line-drawn cartridge with a ridged grip, a blank label window and tiny chip details stands inside a clear glass cylinder on a round, two-tier black plinth.
A ceiling spotlight pours a warm yellow-green cone of light down onto the case, as if the cartridge were the star of its own exhibit. Callout lines point out what sits inside the shell, naming parts such as the mask ROM, the lockout chip, the save battery, the connector pins and the circuit board, and a round magnifier inset at the lower right zooms in on the board traces.
At the bottom, a small cream card stamped RAZ-001 sits like an exhibit label, a playful nod to the series number. The rest of the fine print around the edges is drawn as decorative lettering rather than readable text, so the eye stays on the cartridge and its glow.
Crisp lines on thick matte paper, in five squares
- Five square sizes: 10″×10″ (25.4 × 25.4 cm), 12″×12″ (30.5 × 30.5 cm), 14″×14″ (35.6 × 35.6 cm), 16″×16″ (40.6 × 40.6 cm) and 18″×18″ (45.7 × 45.7 cm), each with the full border and corner medallions in view
- Enhanced matte paper, 189 g/m² and 10.3 mil thick, with a flat finish, so the fine cream line work stays sharp and free of glare
- 94% opacity, so the wall behind never tints the deep blue
- 104% ISO brightness keeps the cream lines bright against the blueprint blue
- Paper sourced from Japan
- Frame not included, so you can match it to your shelf or setup
Who it's for
Retro gamers who kept their old cartridges, tinkerers who like to know how things work, and anyone decorating a game room, a home office, a workshop or a shelf of classic consoles. Give it for a birthday, Father's Day, a graduation, Christmas or a housewarming.
Quick answers
Is the RAZ-001 card a real certificate?
No. The card is drawn into the artwork as a playful exhibit label. The poster is a print with no separate paperwork, signature or numbering.
Is the cartridge from a specific game or console?
No. It is a generic cartridge with a blank label window and no logo or brand, so it nods to the cartridge era as a whole rather than to one system.
Which size shows the labels best?
The part labels are small, so 16″×16″ (40.6 × 40.6 cm) or 18″×18″ (45.7 × 45.7 cm) keeps them readable from across a room. A 10″×10″ (25.4 × 25.4 cm) suits a desk shelf you see up close.
