Potions stocked, herbs dried, candles lit: the bag is full and the adventure can start.
This pixel art potion poster, Every Slot Tells a Story, shows a carved dark-wood apothecary cabinet laid out like a game inventory, its 21 slots stocked with potions, herbs, a red feather, a shield crest and more. Printed on thick matte paper, it brings a warm, candlelit corner of a fantasy world to your wall and makes a fond present for anyone who plays RPGs.
The design: an alchemist's cabinet, stocked slot by slot
An ornate cabinet of dark carved wood fills the picture, with a carved crest at the top and carved pillars down each side. Its middle is a grid of square compartments, three rows of seven, each framed in slate blue and marked with a tiny count in the lower corner, just like an item stack in a game menu.
Read the top row from the left and you find a gold coin, a round flask, an amber potion, a green potion, a red feather, a silver shield crest and a sprig of leaves. The middle row holds bundles of herbs, a clay jar, a small lidded urn, a blue-green leaf and a red berry sprig. The bottom row keeps a dark red herb bundle, a walnut, broad green leaves, a berry wreath and a cluster of orange and red fruit, with a tall glass bottle and a candle at one end and a coil of rope with a green sprig at the other.
Above the grid, arched niches hold old leather books, small bottles and lit candles, and a large round glass flask glows in the center arch. Four small label plaques run along the base, and a carved apron sinks into shadow below them.
It is all drawn in fine, painterly pixel art: near-black wood, cool slate-blue compartments, amber candlelight and jewel-tone potions. The feeling is a quiet storeroom in a fantasy RPG, the place you visit to stock up before heading out, and the name fits: each little item hints at a quest, a lucky find or a close call.
Thick matte paper that keeps the candlelight warm and the tiny items sharp
- Hang it small or large: five square sizes from 10″×10″ (25.4 × 25.4 cm) up to 18″×18″ (45.7 × 45.7 cm), or eleven portrait sizes stretching from 5″×7″ (12.7 × 17.8 cm) to 24″×36″ (61.0 × 91.4 cm), with A2 and A1 in between
- Enhanced Matte Paper at 189 g/m² with a soft surface that does not shine, so candle flames and potion glass stay easy to see under a ceiling light
- A 10.3 mil sheet with real body, so it handles well when you mount or frame it
- 94% opacity and 104% ISO brightness: the dark wood stays deep while the amber and green potions stay bright
- Paper sourced from Japan
- Frame not included; each print is made after you order
Who it's for
Fantasy RPG players, pixel-art fans, tabletop gamers and anyone who spends too long sorting their inventory. It suits a game room, a bedroom, a study or a cozy reading corner, and it is a good choice for a birthday, a game-night host or someone setting up a first desk of their own.
Quick answers
Is it based on a real video game?
No. It is original RaZits art. The cabinet, potions and herbs are generic fantasy items with no logo, character or title from any game, so it fits the wall of any RPG fan.
Are there words on the print?
Not readable ones. Each plaque along the base carries tiny pixel marks shaped like a label plus a single digit, and every compartment shows a small count. On the biggest sizes you can tell up close that the marks do not spell words.
Do portrait sizes cut anything off?
The art is square, so the five square sizes show it whole. Portrait sizes trim a little from the left and right, mostly dark wall and the outer carved pillars; the crest, niches, all 21 slots and the plaques stay in every size.
Which size works best?
To make out the little item counts from across a room, go for 18″×24″ (45.7 × 61.0 cm) or larger. For a shelf or a desk nook, 8″×10″ (20.3 × 25.4 cm) or the 12″×12″ (30.5 × 30.5 cm) square keeps it neat.
