Some nights everything lines up, and the sky itself looks like a gamepad.

This game controller wall art sets a gamepad drawn in glowing neon lines adrift in star-dotted space, for players who do their best work after dark. It comes on bright matte paper in square sizes only, and it makes a simple present for whoever hosts game night.

The design: a neon gamepad floating among nebula clouds

Two lines of bold white capitals sit across the top third of the sheet: STARS ALIGN on the first, FOR GAMERS on the second. The letters are squared-off and blocky, with a faint purple glow behind them, like a title card hung in the night sky.

Under the words floats one large game controller, drawn only as a glowing outline in the manner of a neon sign. Its left half is traced in electric blue and its right half in hot pink, with a single green stroke on the lower right grip. Look closer and you can pick out a plus-shaped directional pad, four round face buttons, two thumbsticks ringed in teal-green and pink, and a short bar with three small buttons in the middle.

Airbrushed clouds of pink, magenta, purple and blue drift around and beneath the controller, scattered with four-point sparkle stars and tiny dots, and two faint dotted constellation lines sit in the upper corners. All of it rests on solid black. It is a small toast to the evenings when the squad is online, the calendar is clear and the match goes your way.

Matte paper that leaves the glowing to the neon lines

• Five squares to pick from: 10″×10″ (25.4 × 25.4 cm), 12″×12″ (30.5 × 30.5 cm), 14″×14″ (35.6 × 35.6 cm), 16″×16″ (40.6 × 40.6 cm) and 18″×18″ (45.7 × 45.7 cm), with the lettering and the whole controller surrounded by starry black on each one
• Enhanced matte paper, 189 g/m² and 10.3 mil thick; a screen or lamp nearby won't leave a shiny patch across the night sky
• 104% ISO brightness means the ink sits on a very white sheet, which is what makes the pink and blue outlines look lit
• With 94% opacity, the sheet stays dark even on a brightly painted wall
• Paper sourced from Japan
• Comes as a bare print with no frame included

Who it's for

Night-owl players, co-op partners, couch-multiplayer families and anyone whose group chat wakes up at nine in the evening. Hang it over a gaming desk, beside a media shelf, in a dorm room or on the wall a streaming camera faces. It lands well as a birthday surprise, a first-apartment present, a new-desk-build treat or a winter holiday gift.

Quick answers

Which controller is it?

None in particular. It is a generic gamepad shape with a directional pad, face buttons and two thumbsticks, so it stands for gaming in general and not for any one system or maker.

Does it glow in the dark?

No. The neon effect is drawn, then printed in ink on paper. You need room light or a nearby lamp to see it; nothing here lights up, plugs in or takes batteries.

Which size fits above a monitor?

For the strip of wall over a single monitor, 12″×12″ (30.5 × 30.5 cm) or 14″×14″ (35.6 × 35.6 cm) is a sensible start. Over a wide desk or a couch, go up to 18″×18″ (45.7 × 45.7 cm); 10″×10″ (25.4 × 25.4 cm) fits a bookcase ledge.

Is there a border around the art?

No. The starry background runs to all four edges of the paper. If you add a mat, it will cover a little of that background, while the words and the controller stay clear of the edge.
