Kindness, sprayed loud enough to read from across the kitchen.
This kindness mug puts a five-word motto where you will meet it at every pour, lettered over a rainbow heart with sprayed edges. Keep it for the mornings that test your patience, or give it to the person who feeds the strays and remembers everyone's name.
The design: Be Kind to Every Kind, on a spray-paint rainbow heart
The words arrive in four stacked lines that climb toward the right, as if lettered on a slant in a hurry: two words up top, a small one tucked in at the left, then a line apiece for the last two. Each letter is chunky and rounded, white with a black outline and a tan-gold shadow behind it.
A single gold paw print sits in the middle of the lettering, a wide pad and four toes with a dark outline and a soft painted shine. It belongs to no particular animal, and that is the point of the motto's last two words.
Behind everything is a heart built from curved rainbow bands in soft, slightly muted tones. Its outline is rough on purpose: sprayed and speckled like stencil paint on a wall, with spatter around the rim and one drip running off the bottom point. The letters stay crisp, so the message reads clean against the mist of color.
Kind to your routine, too
- Glossy ceramic with a vivid print, so the heart is easy to read from the other end of the table
- Sturdy enough to be the everyday mug, not the one saved for guests
- Two prints, one per side: set the mug down either way round and the heart still faces someone
- Forgot your coffee while answering one more message? This mug can go in the microwave
- It rides in the dishwasher with everything else, leaving your evening free
Who it's for
Teachers, nurses, counselors, pet owners, shelter volunteers and the coworker who holds the door for the whole hallway. Set it on a classroom desk, a clinic front counter or the shelf above the dog bowls. It fits a teacher appreciation week, a thank-you for a generous neighbor, a welcome for a new team member or a pick-me-up for a friend in the middle of a rough month.
Quick answers
What is the wordplay in the motto?
The last word does double duty. It starts out as the way you treat others and ends up meaning every sort of creature, which the paw in the middle makes plain. Patience for people and animals alike is the whole idea.
Why do two letters look small among the capitals?
Both i's are drawn lowercase with a dot, on purpose. It is a hand-lettering habit that makes blocky capitals feel friendlier, and it rewards a second look.
Why do the photos show two mugs?
The pictures stack two identical mugs so you can see the print from both handle sides at once. Each order is for one mug.
