The two words every player has stared at, finally on your side.
This game over sticker, a design we call Golden Grid Finale, sets the arcade's closing message in chunky gold pixel capitals above a lit-up grid. It is for anyone who grew up feeding quarters into a cabinet, and it is small enough to tuck inside a card for the retro fan you know.
The design: gold pixel capitals in a grid room
Two centered lines of chunky pixel-style capitals spell GAME on top and OVER below, every corner stepped and blocky. Each letter is two-tone, bright yellow-gold across the top and orange underneath, with a dark inner outline and a light-blue pixel outline wrapped around it.
Four gold pixel stars sit near the corners of the lettering, two larger and two smaller, with a few tiny gold pixel dots scattered nearby. Thin light-blue streaks, a little like circuit lines, run out to the left and right from behind the letters. The backdrop is a dark navy room drawn in one-point perspective: thin teal-blue grid lines cross the floor, ceiling and side walls and race toward the center, where a soft purple haze sits behind the words.
It is the end screen kept as a souvenir, the moment that once sent you digging through your pockets for another coin. There is no character and no score counter here, only retro lettering and stars on a synthwave-style grid.
A game over sticker in opaque vinyl with a white edge
- A wide rectangle with slightly rounded corners, kiss-cut with a white border around the artwork
- High-opacity vinyl that is impossible to see through, so it hides an older sticker or a patch of paint
- Presses down fast and bubble-free, so there is no smoothing out air pockets afterward
- Durable vinyl meant for regular use
- Give the surface a quick clean before you apply it
Who it's for
Arcade regulars, pixel-art fans, retro players and anyone who can still hear the cabinet jingle. Try it on a laptop lid, a notebook cover, a desk organizer or the storage bin where the controllers live. Slip one into a birthday card, a holiday stocking or a goodbye note for a longtime co-op partner.
Quick answers
How big is the sticker on each size option?
The design is a wide rectangle, so the printed sticker is shorter than a square. It measures about 3″ × 1⅝″, 4″ × 2¼″ and 5½″ × 3⅛″ on the first three options, and about 6⅝″ × 3¾″ on the 15″×3.75″ option.
Are the roses and paper cranes part of the order?
No. The flowers, paper cranes, tissue paper and ribbon in the photos are props for the picture. You receive the sticker alone.
Does it show a particular game?
No. The lettering is a generic arcade-style pixel face, and nothing on the sticker names or shows a specific title, character or machine.
Can I put it on something that gets wet?
We make no water or weather claims for it, so pick a spot that stays dry and indoors, such as a laptop, a binder or a shelf edge.
