This Glacier National Park poster sets a mountain road scene in solid areas of gray, green and cream. It works on a bedroom wall, over a desk or along a stairwell of trip pictures.

What Snow Peaks and Red Car shows

The scene sits in a wide picture panel, broader than it is tall, on cream paper. Its sky is a flat pale blue crossed by three thin cream cloud bars, with two small dark birds in the upper left.

Below the sky stands a range of angular peaks in a few shades of gray, topped with white snow caps and marked with white snow streaks. The tallest summit rises just right of center. Dark green conifer silhouettes fill the lower corners in front of mid-green slopes.

A cream road comes in at the bottom center, bends to the right and winds up the green slope until the trees hide it. On that road rides one small red open-top car of an old-fashioned shape, the single red accent in the picture. Under the panel, the word "GLACIER" is set very large in dark green capitals. "NATIONAL PARK" follows on a second line, and a small third line reads "MONTANA • EST. 1910", the state and the year the park was established. The drawing uses crisp color areas with no shading, the look of a retro travel poster.
