Born for the spotlight, with a mane of copper and a face full of stars.

This Leo phone case is made for July and August birthdays and for anyone who carries the lion sign with a little pride. Keep it on your own phone as an everyday nod to your sign, or add it to your Leo birthday gifts for the friend who always takes center stage.

The design: a copper lion with stars across its face

A lion head faces you straight on, drawn in fine copper line work: a flowing mane of long curved strokes, two rounded ears, steady eyes, whiskers and a pointed tuft at the chin. Thin white lines link small star dots across its forehead and face, and a second cluster of stars settles on the lower mane, so the lion looks sketched out of the night itself.

Above the head, LEO sits in white serif capitals with a small curved swash beneath it. Everything rests on a square of black ink that bleeds into deep navy watercolor at its ragged edges, like ink spreading over wet paper. That dark square is printed solid, so the lion reads just as clearly on light and dark phones, while the clear case above and below it lets your phone's own finish show.

Designed for the fiery, fearless spirit of the Leo star sign, it's a lion sign made to be noticed: warm, confident and big-hearted, the way astrology describes the fire sign of late summer. Fellow Leos tend to spot it from across the table.

A clear Leo phone case built for everyday carry

• A solid polycarbonate back holds the lion square, with the rest of the case left clear
• Flexible, see-through polyurethane sides make it easy to take on and off
• A slightly raised 0.5 mm edge sits around the front of the screen
• Port openings line up exactly, so you can plug in without removing the case
• Wireless charging compatible: set the phone on the pad with the case still on
• Guards the back and sides against scratches, dust, oil and dirt

Who it's for

Leos, astrology fans and horoscope readers who check their sign before their coffee, plus anyone who likes fine line art and a dark, moody look on their phone. It rides along on the commute, sits on the desk through long meetings and comes out for every group photo. Good moments to give it: a Leo birthday between July 23 and August 22, the start of Leo season, a holiday stocking or a just-because surprise for the friend who loves being the main character.

Quick answers

Which phones does it fit?

Each case is made for one iPhone model, from the 7/8 and the 2020 iPhone SE up to the iPhone 14 Pro Max, 19 models in all. Choose yours in the Size menu; a Pro and a Pro Max from the same year take different cases.

Does the camera opening cover any of the art?

On phones with several cameras the opening overlaps the top corner of the ink square. The lion stays fully in view, but on the largest camera layouts the opening can hide most of the LEO lettering.

Is the lion drawn as the real Leo star map?

No. The white lines and dots are decorative, scattered across the lion's face in a constellation style rather than traced from a star chart. It's astrology art, not an astronomy diagram.

Will it protect my phone from a fall?

It's an everyday cover, not a rugged one. There's no drop or shock rating and it isn't waterproof, so it suits pockets, bags and desks; for trails or job sites, a heavy-duty case is the better choice.

Is there anything to do before using it?

The case may include a protective film on the inside that needs to be removed before use. Peel it away, slip your phone in, and you are set.
