Dawn breaks over a pixel valley, and the day ahead looks a little more doable.

This mountain sticker packs a whole 8-bit landscape into one round badge: Pixel River Valley, original RaZits art of a ringed sun rising behind blue-teal peaks above a winding river. It's made for retro gamers, mountain lovers and anyone who could use a small morning nudge, and it's simple to slip into a card.

The design: Pixel River Valley at first light

The sky is laid down in stripes of coral pink, peach and golden yellow, the colors of the first minutes after dawn, with a few tiny grey diamond sparkles blinking in it. Low on the horizon, a pale-yellow pixel sun wears a ring of light as it rises behind a row of blue-teal triangular mountains.

Below the peaks, a turquoise river runs down the middle toward you, framed by green cliffs with brown rocky edges and small pixel trees. Over the scene, three stacked lines of chunky orange-to-gold pixel capitals with heavy black outlines spell out a three-word reminder to keep improving, one day after another, and a pink pixel heart sits beside the middle line.

Each part is placed pixel by pixel like the map screen of an old-school adventure game, and there isn't a character or logo anywhere in it. Even the badge's outline follows the pixels, stepping around in a rough circle that flattens where the river spills out at the bottom. It's the view from a save point on the first morning of a new quest: calm, bright and pointing forward.

Round pixel badge on tough, solid vinyl

• Kiss-cut right around the stepped pixel outline, trimmed by a narrow white border, so the badge stands on its own with no square around it
• Opaque vinyl that fully masks the surface below, scratches and faded decals included
• Goes down smooth, without pockets of air trapped under the badge
• Durable vinyl made for things you pick up and carry every day
• Clean the spot first so the small stepped edges hold tight

Who it's for

Gamers raised on side-scrolling adventures, hikers and campers who love a mountain view, journalers tracking small daily habits and anyone who needs a sunrise on a gray Monday. Press it onto a sketchbook cover, the front of a planner, a laptop lid or a monitor's frame. Give it with a new journal, slip it into a graduation card or add it to a hiking club gift swap.

Quick answers

How wide is the round valley on each option?

Being round, it fills most but not all of each square: roughly 2.2″ wide on 3″×3″, 3.0″ on 4″×4″ and 4.1″ on 5.5″×5.5″. The 15″×3.75″ choice carries that same badge at near 2.8″ wide, just under the 4″×4″ size.

Is the sky a sunrise or a sunset?

The coral and gold stripes could be either, but with the ringed sun just clearing the peaks, we read it as sunrise: the start of a fresh day.

Do the letters and the heart come as separate pieces?

No. The lettering, heart, sun and valley are printed together inside one stepped outline, so you peel and place a single badge. For the best result, keep it on something that stays dry and indoors.
