Fog on the water, driftwood on the sand, one gull overhead.
Gray sea stacks stand in pale water behind a sandy beach on this Olympic National Park poster, a calm coastal scene for a bedroom, an office or a cabin wall. It is for beach walkers and Pacific Northwest hikers, and it is a thoughtful present for anyone who misses the Washington coast.
Inside the Fog and Driftwood Shore design
Much of the upper sheet is a plain pale gray-green sky, empty except for one small dark gull with its wings spread at the upper right. Beneath the sky a low bank of cream-white fog rolls across the full width in soft, rounded shapes. At the far left a gray headland slopes down to the water, with a second, paler one behind it.
Three gray sea stacks stand in the water right of center. The middle one is the tallest, the left one is shorter and broader, and the right one is the thinnest. Each is drawn with lighter and darker faces like cut stone, each wears a band of green moss around its base, and faint pale reflections lie under all three. A strip of blue-gray water runs behind the beach, and white foam lines curl onto the sand.
The foreground is a sand-gold beach. One long driftwood log lies diagonally from the left edge with a few shorter logs near it, and rounded gray stones sit among them. Below the beach sits a cream band holding one centered line of dark slate capitals, tall and evenly spaced: "OLYMPIC NATIONAL PARK". Plain cream lies beneath the lettering. It is a modern take on the retro travel poster, with muted, low-contrast colors, flat shapes, a few soft blends in the fog, water and sky, and no outlines.

Who it's for
Beachcombers, Pacific Northwest hikers, Washington locals living far from home, national park travelers and anyone who prefers a foggy shore to a postcard one. It suits a bedroom, a home office, a cabin, an entry hall or a reading corner. Give it as a housewarming gift, a birthday present or a keepsake after a trip along the coast.
Quick answers
Which way do the sheets hang?
Upright. Every size is a portrait sheet, taller than it is wide, with the sky at the top and the park name under the beach.
Is it a bright, sunny beach picture?
No. It is a quiet, low-contrast scene: soft fog, flat shapes and gentle blends, with no sun in the sky and one gull for company.
Is it framed, and does that matter for a gift?
It comes as a paper print with no frame. For a gift, that leaves the choice of a frame, clips or a poster rail to the person who will hang it.
What is the surface of the print like?
It is matte paper. That flat finish is a natural partner for a scene made of fog, sand and stone.
