A refill request in three heavy words.

This coffee quote mug carries a three-word plea for another pour, stacked one word per line in heavy white capitals on glossy black ceramic. Fill it at dawn, again at the afternoon slump, and give one to the person who has never stopped at a single cup.

The design: type that sits slightly off-register

Three short words sit in a left-aligned column, each in a thick geometric sans-serif, in white. A thin pink and cyan edge runs along the letters, so they look a touch out of register, like a poster seen through 3D glasses.

Nothing else is printed: no cup, no steam, no icons. The lettering does all the talking, and the words read as the promise every coffee lover makes right before pouring the next one.

A glossy black mug for the second cup and the third

• Dishwasher and microwave safe, so one mug covers the whole cycle of pour, reheat and rinse
• Ceramic body with a glossy finish, which keeps the bold white print crisp against the dark
• Lead- and BPA-free material for everyday drinking

Who it's for

Coffee lovers who say last cup and mean next cup, home-office workers, night-shift students and anyone who likes typography more than pictures on a mug. It suits a housewarming, a birthday or a team's end-of-year swap.

Quick answers

Is there a picture on it, such as a cup or a bean?

No. The print is type only, in white with a thin pink and cyan edge, so the mug works in any kitchen or office.

Where does the lettering sit?

Once on each side, large and centered, with plain black ceramic between the two prints. So whichever side you turn toward you, the full phrase is there.

How much taller is the larger mug?

The 15 oz mug is 0.85 in (2.2 cm) taller: 4.7 in (12 cm) against 3.85 in (9.8 cm) for the 11 oz. The width is identical at 3.35 in (8.5 cm).
