A pixel sword, caught in the middle of a comic-book flash.
Set this sword decal on a desk and it looks like one frame pulled from a game and a comic at the same moment: a pixel-art sword laid across a pop-art burst. Pixel Sword is for players raised on role-playing games and for readers who love a loud printed panel, and it makes a small extra beside a bigger gaming gift.
Inside the square: one sword, one flash
The sword lies on a diagonal, round pommel at the lower left and tip at the upper right. It is drawn in pixel art, so its edges climb in small steps: a broad straight blade in teal and pale blue-white with a white highlight along one edge, a straight gold crossguard, a red grip wrapped in bands and a gold pommel with a ring, all held together by a dark outline.
Behind it opens a comic-book burst in three jagged layers, yellow at the center, then red, then blue. Long thin black spikes and fine speed lines shoot outward, a few gold streaks cross them, and grey halftone dots fade toward the edges. Four small grey-white smoke puffs with black outlines float around the burst.
All of this sits on a very pale grey square, and there is no lettering on it anywhere. The fun is in the mix: the careful, blocky look of an old game item meeting the loose energy of a printed comic page, like the instant a newly found item lights up the screen.
Opaque vinyl that is easy to place
- Square with gently rounded corners; the pale background runs out to a white kiss-cut border on each side
- The film blocks light fully, which lets it cover an older sticker or a spot of paint
- Applying it is fast, and the vinyl lies down free of air bubbles
- Durable vinyl that stands up to being handled often
- A clean spot is all it needs, so dust it off first
Who it's for
Fans of role-playing games, pixel artists, comic readers and the friend whose character always carries a sword. Our photos show it on the closed lid of a laptop (the laptop is not part of the order); a sketchbook, a game shelf or a storage tin are other ideas. Give it at the start of a new tabletop campaign, with a first drawing tablet or alongside a favorite game you are handing back.
Quick answers
What do I get at each size?
Pick a square option and the art runs to the border: about 3″, about 4″ or about 5½″ per side. With 15″×3.75″ selected you receive a single square about 3¾″ (9.5 cm) tall; the art does not stretch to fill the wider sheet.
Is it cut to the outline of the sword?
No. The sticker is a square. The sword and the burst are printed on a pale background that reaches the border, so you peel one neat square instead of a spiky shape.
Why do the sword and the flash look so different?
They come from two traditions. The sword is built from small squares, the way older games drew their items; the flash, speed lines and smoke puffs are smooth ink-style shapes with printed-page dots. Putting the two together is the whole idea.
Is anything written on it?
Nothing. The picture has no caption, sound-effect word or title, so it reads the same in any language and leaves the story to you.
