Follow the red dashes south, past the caves, to the spot marked X.
This video game map poster, Sea Serpent Coast, lays out a whole pixel art map of an imagined land on a folded sheet of old parchment, from a snowy mountain range down to a sea with a serpent in it. Printed on thick matte paper, it brings a retro RPG world to the wall and makes an easy gift for the player who explores every corner before the main quest.
The design: an overworld from the frozen ridge to the serpent's sea
The whole land sits on one sheet of parchment, browned along the edges, stained at the corners and creased where it was once folded into quarters. Across the top runs a long range of brown mountains capped with snow. A green pine forest fills the left half, and a winding blue river with small lakes runs from the peaks all the way down to the southern coast.
A red dashed trail sets out from the north and winds through sandy yellow lowlands, past gray boulders and low hills, to a red X burst, the old sign of buried treasure. On the right, two cave mouths open in a rocky ridge next to a compass rose marked N, S, E and W. Down in the blue sea at the lower right, a small green sea serpent coils through the water with its long neck raised.
It is all drawn in retro 16-bit-style pixel art, with hard square edges and outlined shapes, like the overworld map of a classic role-playing game. Pixel-lettered region names mark out the land, and the palette stays earthy: parchment yellow and tan, forest green, snow white, river blue and deep ocean blue, with the red trail as the one bright line to follow.

Who it's for
Retro RPG players, tabletop RPG groups, fantasy map art fans and anyone who grew up checking the world map before every quest. It fits a game room, a dorm, a study or the wall above a gaming desk, and makes a fun present for a birthday, a housewarming, the holidays or the night a new campaign kicks off.
Quick answers
Is the map from a real game?
No. It is an original RaZits illustration of an imagined land, drawn in the style of an old-school role-playing world map. There are no game characters, logos or real place names on it.
Can I read the place names?
The region names are drawn in chunky pixel letters, so they read like labels on an old game screen rather than crisp type. Up close, a couple of the labels look a little jumbled, part of the found-map feel.
Does a smaller size crop the map?
No. The art is square, so the smallest and largest prints show the same full map, from the snowy peaks at the top to the sea serpent in the lower corner.
Which size suits which spot?
The 10″ square sits well on a shelf or a narrow wall by a desk. The 16″ or 18″ square gives the trail, caves and serpent room to read from across a game room or above a bed.
