An old rally poster, except the fist in the air is holding a gamepad.
Borrowing the look of a mid-century rally print, this victory poster is made for players who queue up again after a loss. RaZits drew the artwork in-house, and it is a fitting gift for a player who never logs off beaten.
The design: a fist, a gamepad and a low sun
A clenched fist rises from the lower left on a bare forearm, drawn with bold black outlines and comic-style shading, and wrapped around a dark slate-blue game controller. The pad is a generic two-grip shape with a clover-style directional pad on one side and four small round buttons in red, blue and green on the other, so it stands for any player's controller.
Behind the fist, the square is split down the middle, flat red on the left and slate blue-grey on the right, with a mustard-yellow disc sitting at the center like a sun. Heavy squared block capitals in cream, each with a thick black outline and a shadow, spell “Victory” across the top and “Demands Respawns” in two stacked lines along the bottom, closing on an exclamation mark. The knuckles and the controller overlap the lower edge of the top word, which brings the fist to the front of the picture.
A cream border frames the whole square, and the screen-print look keeps to six colors: red, slate blue, mustard, cream, peach and black. The message is one every player learns early: nobody clears the hard part on the first life, so the win goes to whoever keeps coming back.
A victory poster on thick matte paper
- Matte paper, 189 g/m² and 10.3 mil thick, so the flat red and blue areas show as even color without shine
- 94% opacity, so a dark or busy wall behind the sheet does not dull the cream lettering
- 104% ISO brightness, which lets the mustard disc and the red half read cleanly
- Paper sourced from Japan
- Five squares, each carrying the full border: 10″×10″ (25.4 × 25.4 cm), 12″×12″ (30.5 × 30.5 cm), 14″×14″ (35.6 × 35.6 cm), 16″×16″ (40.6 × 40.6 cm) and 18″×18″ (45.7 × 45.7 cm)
- Sold as a loose sheet with no frame or hanging hardware, which leaves the framing up to you
Who it's for
Ranked grinders, fighting-game regulars, streamers, esports clubs and anyone who says one more match at 2 a.m. It fits above a desk setup, next to a trophy shelf, in a dorm or on a team room wall. Good moments to give it: a birthday, a graduation, the opening week of a new season or the day a first tournament entry goes in.
Quick answers
What do the words mean?
In game terms, to respawn is to return to play after being knocked out. The three-word line says a win is earned by coming back for another try, as many times as it takes.
What tone does the poster take?
It is a motivational piece. The rally styling is playful, yet the message is a straight never-quit line, so it suits a team room or a practice corner as much as a bedroom wall.
Is the light edge part of the artwork?
Yes. A light border is part of the artwork and runs around all four sides at every size, so the print looks finished in a frame without a mat, or simply pinned up.
How large should it hang between a monitor and a shelf?
Most desk walls take 12″×12″ (30.5 × 30.5 cm) or 14″×14″ (35.6 × 35.6 cm) between the monitor and a shelf. If the poster is the main piece in a game room, go to 18″×18″ (45.7 × 45.7 cm).
