The butterfly is seen from above with its wings fully open. The upper pair is banded in orange and yellow, pink, purple and teal, and dotted with rows of dark oval eye-spots. The lower pair shifts to teal and turquoise and ends in scalloped edges of pink and orange-yellow. Fine dark veins cross every panel, and the body down the middle is a segmented orange-gold.

Look at the top of the head: the two antennae curl inward until they form a heart shape. WING arches above them in bold cream capitals with a rough, hand-cut edge and a small diamond spark on either side, and IT stands below, centered between the lower wings.

To wing it is to improvise, to say yes before the plan is finished. A butterfly makes a good mascot for that idea, and this one is painted in bright, saturated shades that blend smoothly from one into the next.
