Here comes the one train that is always glad to see you.
This train sticker turns a boxy subway car into a character, with windows for eyes and headlights for cheeks. East Coast Vibe Check is for commuters, rail fans and city people who like a bit of cheer on the way to work.
A pastel car with a face on the front
The train comes toward you from the front left, with its cars running back behind it on a strip of dark track. The body is painted in soft wavy bands of pastel blue, yellow, pink and lilac, under a dark gray roof, with gray wheels below and a coupler up front.
The front of the lead car is the face. Its two windows are big eyes: pink rings around black pupils, each with a white highlight and a small pink brow line above. The two round headlights are pink, like cheeks, and a small curved smile sits on the door between them.
Pink hearts and yellow four-point sparkles float on both sides of the train. Chunky rounded capitals, white on their upper part and pink on the lower, with a black outline and drop shadow, spell “East Coast” in an arch over the roof and “Vibe Check” along the bottom.
Durable vinyl, cut around the whole train
- Kiss-cut around the art, which leaves a white border tracing the train, the hearts and both lines of lettering
- High-opacity film: an older sticker or a painted patch beneath it does not show
- No bubbles to chase, because the vinyl is made for fast, easy application
- Stands up to regular use, thanks to durable vinyl
- One prep step: clean the surface, then apply
Who it's for
Daily commuters, rail fans, grown-ups who still wave at trains and people who moved inland and miss the ride. Stick it to a laptop lid and take it along to work. It makes a small extra for a going-away party, a student moving to a city campus, a friend's first apartment or the coworker who shares your platform every morning.
Quick answers
Does the sticker fill the size I choose?
Not edge to edge. The piece follows the shape of the train and its lettering and is wider than tall, so on the three square options it stays inside the listed size. On 15″×3.75″ it is still one small piece; the art is never stretched along the strip.
What else is drawn besides the train?
A strip of dark track beneath the cars, hearts and sparkles in the gaps on either side, and the two lines of capitals. All of it sits inside the same white outline.
What is the zigzag line on the side of the train?
A thin dark line that jumps up and down along the first cars, like the pulse line on a heart monitor. It is a small detail that sits near the floating hearts.
