Description

Old strings, new decks, one set list.

Two controllers sit at the foot of a classical string instrument in this DJ wall art, with a striped sun glowing behind them. The poster is made for the wall behind a booth or next to a music stand; hand it to whoever runs the playlist at your parties.

The design: decks in front, strings behind, a striped sun over both

The ground is dark navy flecked with fine orange speckles. A large orange-yellow sun sits at the back, its lower half sliced by horizontal stripes. Before it stand two carved stone blocks in orange and purple: the bigger one, at the left, has a row of small arched openings and zigzag carving, and the smaller one, at the right, is covered in scroll patterns.

A classical string instrument leans across the blocks on a diagonal, scroll and pegs at the top right, four strings running down past the f-holes to the bridge and tailpiece, its body shaded orange and pink. The gear waits at the front. On the left is a blue-and-purple deck with one large platter, a pad grid, knobs and faders. On the right is a purple-and-pink controller with two small jog wheels, colored pads and sliders, and a small boxy unit with sliders of its own rests between the two.

Teal italic capitals spell out “Timeless Tunes” on two lines, the first word in outlined, line-striped letters that climb toward the right, the second smaller and solid. Neon shapes are scattered around the scene (a pink triangle, a cyan triangle outline, a cyan zigzag, a pink square outline, a few small circles), and a purple grid floor stretches out below in perspective.

A sturdy matte sheet for the studio wall

  • Choose among 16 sizes: the smallest is 5″×7″ (12.7 × 17.8 cm), the largest 24″×36″ (61 × 91.4 cm), and five of them are square
  • Paper weight of 189 g/m² at 10.3 mil, thick enough that you notice it when you lift the print
  • A matte finish gives the orange sun and the neon outlines a soft, even look
  • The paper's figures are 94% opacity and 104% ISO brightness
  • Paper from Japan; the poster is sold unframed

Who it's for

DJs, producers, string players who also love a dance floor, music teachers and the friend whose living room is half studio. Put it over the decks, in a rehearsal room or along a hallway of music prints. Good moments to give it: a first gig, a recital, a studio-warming or a milestone birthday.

Quick answers

How are the decks and the strings arranged?

The stone blocks and the instrument stand at the back, close to the sun, and the two controllers sit on the grid floor in front, so the eye moves from the gear up to the strings.

Which size should I pick for a home studio?

Check how much free wall you have before anything else. A larger sheet suits a wall with nothing else on it, and the smaller sizes fit a shelf edge, a desk corner or the gap beside a monitor.

How do I hang it?

It is a loose paper print and does not include hanging hardware. Use a frame, poster rails or removable strips, whichever suits your wall.

A bowed instrument and a pair of DJ rigs share one stage under a banded sun.

Why music people hang it

  • Two eras, one mix — an orchestra-pit instrument rests on old masonry while modern rigs wait below, traced in electric line work.
  • Body without shine — a matte sheet with real weight, so the neon line work is the only thing glowing on the wall.
  • For the one behind the booth — give it after a first paid set, or to the teacher who lets students remix the classics.
