This neoprene laptop sleeve carries the Built My Own Throne design, for founders, freelancers and anyone who made their own seat at the table. It zips around the laptop for the trip between home, the office and a coworking desk.

Four lines of capitals and a crowned chair

The front of the sleeve is white, and the lettering takes up most of it: “BUILT / MY / OWN / THRONE”, stacked in four centered lines of heavy maroon block capitals. The second line is much smaller than the rest and has a short tapered dash at each side. In the last word, the letter O is a small gold chair with a high back, armrests and a crown on top.

The color is flat throughout, and the black zipper edge runs around the whole front. It is a plain statement about making your own place instead of waiting for an invitation.

Go by measurements. The 13″ sleeve measures 13.5 × 10.5 × 0.6 in (34.3 × 26.7 × 1.5 cm) and the 15″ sleeve 14.7 × 11.2 × 0.6 in (37.3 × 28.4 × 1.5 cm). Compare your laptop's outer length, width and thickness with those figures.

Why is there a chair in the lettering?

It is the throne the words talk about. The little chair takes the place of one letter, so the picture and the last word are the same thing.

How do I clean it?

A soft, damp cloth over the outside is the gentle way to lift a mark.
