One paw, one heart and a rainbow with room for every creature.

This paw print mug is made for dog lovers, cat people and everyone who stops to greet each animal they pass, with a kindness message that meets you at every refill. Let it start your mornings on a soft note, or pass it to the friend whose home runs on fur, whiskers and good intentions.

The design: Be Kind to Every Kind, in a rainbow badge

At the center sits a red heart holding a golden paw print: four round toe pads above a wide main pad, each drawn with a bold dark outline. Behind the heart, a round rainbow spreads out in concentric bands in every color of the spectrum, magenta-pink on the outer edge and purple on the inner ring, with a small white arch peeking over the top of the heart.

The words BE KIND TO arch across the top and EVERY KIND curves along the bottom, set in chunky white bubble capitals with thick dark outlines, so the message circles the rainbow like the rim of a badge. Flat, bright color and heavy outlines give it the look of a groovy 1970s sticker, cheerful even from across the room.

The message reaches past any one species. That paw could belong to a rescue pup, a porch cat or the neighbor's old hound, and "every kind" stretches the welcome to anything with fur, feathers or scales. It's a small promise you can hold with both hands: be patient, be gentle, and keep a little room in your heart for whoever wanders in.

A glossy paw print mug that shares the message from both sides

• Glossy white ceramic body, a clean, bright backdrop for the rainbow and the red heart
• White base area with a colored rim, inside, and handle, in the shade you pick from the options
• Printed twice, once on each side, so you see the paw while you sip and so does whoever sits across from you
• Original RaZits artwork, printed by sublimation
• Made to order, so your mug is printed for you after you check out

Who it's for

Dog moms and dads, cat people, pet sitters, dog walkers, vet techs, shelter volunteers and anyone whose camera roll is mostly other people's pets. It feels at home on an office desk, beside the treat jar in the kitchen or on the front counter of a grooming salon. Give it for a pet lover's birthday, an adoption anniversary, a new-puppy or new-kitten welcome, a thank-you for the sitter who keeps your animals happy, Mother's Day for a pet mom or the holidays.

Quick answers

Is there a dog on the mug?

No dog is drawn. The only animal detail is the paw print, which could just as easily belong to a cat, so the mug suits every kind of pet person, just as the lettering says.

Which capacity should I choose?

Choose 11 oz for a regular cup of coffee or tea, or 15 oz for a bigger refill that lasts through a slow morning or a long afternoon at your desk. Every inside color is offered in both capacities.

Is there any other writing on it?

No. Those five words are the only text on the print: there's no logo, date or signature, just the message and the rainbow paw heart.

Is this the same as the distressed Be Kind to Every Kind mug?

No. RaZits also has a mug with the same words in distressed, stacked lettering over a brushed rainbow heart. This one is the round rainbow badge with bubble capitals and the paw inside a solid red heart.
