The pep talk you needed this morning, now hanging from your shoulder.
Trust Yourself and Keep Going is a quote tote bag that states its four-line message in big, wavy capitals, for anyone in the middle of something difficult that deserves to be finished. Take it to class, to the gym or to the office, and let it do the cheering on the mornings you would rather not.
The lettering: four stacked lines and a scatter of sparkles
The saying is the entire design. TRUST YOURSELF arches across the top in a rosy red, bending like a banner caught by the wind. AND sits under it in wide, rounded letters of denim blue, KEEP follows in the same red, and GOING closes the stack in blue, rippling as if the word had already set off.
The letterforms are warped and puffed up in the manner of a 1970s gig flyer, and a fine speckle runs through every one of them, like ink that has worn in over the years. About a dozen mustard-gold four-point sparkles, some small and some larger, twinkle around the words. There is no figure, no icon and no border: the block is centered on the bag with breathing room on every side, so the message is the first thing anyone reads.
Where the whole to-do list fits
- Measures 15″ across and 15″ down (39 × 39 cm), a 100% polyester body with space for a planner next to a lunch box
- The inside works out to 10 L (2.6 US gal); in practice that is a notebook, a charger, a water bottle and something to eat at three o'clock
- Tops out at 44 lb (20 kg), which leaves the gym shoes and the textbooks plenty of headroom
- Carry it low or high: the natural cotton denim handles run 26″ (67 cm) and are 1″ (2.5 cm) wide, enough loop to grip at your side or hang from a shoulder
- Measurements are taken with the bag lying flat and can run 1″ (2.5 cm) over or under; the handles on yours may not match the photos thread for thread, since handle details differ a little from one facility to the next
Who it's for
Students deep in finals week, career changers, new runners counting down to a first race and anyone rebuilding after a rough stretch. It also belongs to the friend who sends voice notes that begin with you can do this. Give it for the first day at a new job, the morning of a driving test or the week someone moves to a new city.
Quick answers
Is the worn look in the letters a printing flaw?
No. The speckles are drawn into the artwork on purpose, to give the words the feel of a well-loved vintage poster. They are part of the design, not wear on the bag.
Is the saying credited to anyone?
No. It is an everyday line of encouragement, printed with no name, signature or logo beneath it.
Is it a running bag, a study bag or a work bag?
Any of them. Nothing in the design points to one sport, subject or job, so the saying fits a degree, a recovery, a business plan or a marathon.
