Every player has a few tiles they are always happy to draw.
This gift for mahjong lovers celebrates three of them. The My Favourite Three artwork lines up a dot tile, a bamboo tile and a dragon tile like a still life under a small gold star.
The artwork: three tiles, one from each family
Three cream tiles stand side by side under a small gold star: a three-dot tile on the left, a taller eight-bamboo tile in the middle and a red dragon tile with the red 中 character on the right. Beneath them, MY FAVOURITE is set in fine, widely spaced capitals, with THREE in bolder letters below. The group of tiles and words is close to square: about 2.7 inches each way on the 11 oz and 2.9 inches each way on the 15 oz.
Three tiles, two sizes
- Glossy black ceramic gives the three cream tiles a clean, gallery-like background.
- The 11 oz is 3.85 in (9.8 cm) tall with a 3.35 in (8.5 cm) diameter, a neat everyday size.
- 15 oz: 4.7 in (12 cm) tall and 3.35 in (8.5 cm) across, a taller canvas for the same three favorites.
- Dishwasher and microwave safe, so it can be your favorite mug every day.
- Lead and BPA-free material, as clean as the design.
Who it's for
The player who knows the suits by heart, the friend who lights up when a dragon comes her way and anyone who appreciates a clean, modern look. For a birthday or the holidays, it suits the player who already owns every mahjong accessory but not this one.
Quick answers
Which three tiles are shown?
A three-dot tile, an eight-bamboo tile and the red dragon tile with the 中 character: one from the dots, one from the bamboos and one from the honors.
Is the artwork on the front only?
Yes. The three tiles are printed once, facing out opposite the handle, with plain glossy black everywhere else.
Is the spelling "favourite" intentional?
Yes. The artwork uses the British spelling FAVOURITE, and the mug is printed exactly as the artwork reads.
