A dense band of flowers covers roughly the lower two thirds of the bottle, starting just above the base and ending in a clean straight edge below the shoulder. Daisy-, dahlia- and aster-like heads in several sizes crowd together, each with layered petals and a dotted or ringed center.

Between the big blooms sit small five-petal blossoms, sprigs of slim leaves, single leaves, buds and scattered dots, all painted in a soft watercolor style. The palette stays cool throughout: mid blue, teal, pale aqua and white petals with blue-gray and teal leaves.

The band continues around the bottle, so there are petals to look at from the front, the back and either side. Above it the shoulder and neck are left plain, and the cap and base are bare brushed steel, which gives all that color a quiet frame.
