Cracked paving, and one flower that came up through it anyway.
This inspirational notebook carries a small painted emblem on its front cover: a plant in bloom where nobody laid out a garden. Keep it for the plans, lists and first drafts of whatever you are starting next.
One stem between the slabs
Sand-colored stone slabs lie along the bottom of the emblem, split by a crack. Out of that crack climbs a tall green stem with serrated olive leaves and two closed buds. At its tip is an open peach-orange bloom with rounded petals.
Smaller things keep it company. A crescent moon hangs at the upper left among a handful of stars and sparkles. There is a little five-petal flower, leafy sprigs in olive and mustard, a small mushroom and a sprig of round buds.
Hand-drawn serif capitals in terracotta circle the picture and read “Bloom Where You're Planted”: one word arched over the top, two beside the stem and the last curved underneath. Everything has a watercolor look, soft and muted. The saying is an old one, and here it simply gets a literal picture.

Who it's for

Quick answers
Who is this notebook a good match for?
People in the middle of a change who prefer a quiet picture to a loud slogan. The emblem is small and gentle, so the book looks at home on an office desk as well as a bedside table.
Does it suit a plant lover?
Yes. A flowering plant is the star of the cover, and the paper has no printed sections, so it becomes whatever you rule into it: a sowing list, notes on your plants or a garden sketch.
Where does the picture sit on the cover?
At the center: a round emblem on the front cover, with clear space between the lettering and both the wire binding and the outer edges.
Where should it live between entries?
Somewhere dry. A simple habit is to stand it on a shelf with your books, away from the kettle and the windowsill.
