Spines out, sun going down, not a worry in sight.

This cactus decal plants a tall two-armed cactus on a patch of sand with the sea rolling in behind it. This one is for plant people who like their greenery low-maintenance and their humor dry.

Where the sand meets the sunset

The cactus stands dead center: tall, dark green, with two upturned arms, ribbed from top to bottom in lighter green stripes. Small tan thorn marks dot the ribs, and fine black spines bristle along every edge. It grows from a low mound of tan sand, with a few small rocks and two tufts of dark grass at its foot.

Right behind it runs a band of teal sea crossed with white wave lines. Above the water the sky is stacked in horizontal stripes of orange, pink and red with pale cloud lines running through them, and a large yellow-orange sun sits as a half-disc behind the top of the cactus.

Arched over the whole scene, flowing brush script in dark red reads “Perfectly Prickly”. The picture is drawn as a retro badge, with dark outlines, a rounded top and a flat base along the sand.

Opaque vinyl with a border that follows the badge

• Kiss-cut to the shape of the art, so a white border traces the script, the sun and the sandy base
• See-through is not a worry: the film is high-opacity and covers paint or an older sticker beneath it
• Made to apply quickly, with no air bubbles left behind
• Durable vinyl, meant for stickers that see regular use
• Wipe the area down first, then put the sticker on

Who it's for

Cactus and succulent collectors, houseplant people, beach-trip regulars and anyone who is friendly but likes some personal space. It suits a plant swap, a housewarming for a new plant parent, a birthday envelope or the neighbor who watered everything while you were away.

Quick answers

What do I get with each size option?

The badge is cut around the art and stands a bit taller than its width. Choose a square option and the whole badge sits inside that square. Choose 15″×3.75″ and it is printed once, at a small size, instead of being stretched out.

Does the cactus have a face?

No. It is drawn as a plain plant with ribs, thorn marks and spines and no cartoon features.

What does the wording mean?

It plays on two meanings of prickly: a cactus is covered in spines, and a person can be touchy. The sticker puts the word and the plant together.
