Some walls want a view; this one wants a street.
This Mallorca print leads you up a village lane in Valldemossa, past a parked bicycle and climbing bougainvillea, to the bell tower rising behind the roofs. It's an original vintage-style illustration in a black wood frame, and a gift for anyone who has walked that lane, or means to.
The design: Bougainvillea Bell Tower, a Valldemossa lane
Everything is drawn flat and seen at eye level, looking up a cobbled lane: a bicycle leaning on a low stone wall at the left, terracotta pots of white, pink and red flowers along both sides, honey-stone houses with green louvered shutters closing in on either hand and pink bougainvillea climbing the right-hand facade, a wrought-iron lantern on the wall of the house beside it. Behind the terracotta roofs a bell tower with bells in its arches and a tiered cupola stands centered, a smaller domed tower at its left and a church facade with a rose window and cross at its right, with blue-gray mountains, cypresses and a blue sky with small white clouds beyond, and olive branches overhanging the top-left corner.
Valldemossa sits in white serif in the sky above the tower, MALLORCA, SPAIN letter-spaced beneath it between two thin rules, the whole worked in honey gold, cerulean blue, forest green, terracotta and bougainvillea pink inside a cream border.
A sunlit lane in Valldemossa, bells above the bougainvillea.

Who it's for
For Mallorca returners and hill walkers who remember the village's stone lanes and want the street-level view rather than the usual postcard, along with Spain and Mediterranean decor fans, Balearic second-home owners and hiking couples. It hangs well in an entry, a study or a guest room, and it makes a warm gift for a housewarming, an anniversary, a honeymoon, a birthday, Christmas or a retirement, or to thank a host.
Quick answers
Is 12″×18″ the print size or the frame size?
It's the print size. The frame goes around the print, so the outside of the frame is a little larger than the size shown.
Is this a reprint of a vintage original?
No. It is an original illustration drawn in the mid-century travel-poster tradition — flat color, clean edges, bold lettering — and a new composition made for RaZits. It is not a scan of a historic print.
Where is Valldemossa?
Valldemossa is a village on the Spanish island of Mallorca, as the lettering on the print says. The picture shows it as a cobbled lane of honey-stone houses, with a stone bell tower above the roofs and mountains behind.
How do I look after it?
Wipe the acrylite front with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth, and skip ammonia-based, solvent or abrasive cleaners. Keep it out of prolonged direct sunlight and away from damp rooms.
