Two chunky pixel words, a burst of light behind them, and a refill that keeps the long session going.
Start the session with this pixel mug, made for players who treat a long climb as part of the fun. Fill it with coffee before a ranked run or tea for the study block that follows.
The design: GAMER GRIND on a notched plaque
The words GAMER and GRIND are stacked in chunky 8-bit capitals, orange-yellow with a darker shade along the lower edge of each letter. They sit on a black plaque with stepped, notched corners and a white pixel outline, like the title badge of an arcade cabinet.
Behind the plaque, a pixel starburst of jagged coral and cyan spikes radiates outward, and two diagonal light streaks cross in an X from corner to corner, one coral and one cyan, each with a bright white core. Everything is drawn in blocky pixels, so the whole thing reads as retro game art without borrowing a single character or logo.
A grind is the stretch of play where nothing flashy happens and you keep going anyway. The burst gives that stretch some fireworks.
A sturdy glossy mug for long sessions
- Sturdy ceramic with a sleek, glossy finish, a cup that suits the morning java or an afternoon tea break
- Lead- and BPA-free material, so it is fine for everyday drinking
- Dishwasher and microwave safe, so cleanup is quick and a cooled refill warms back up
- The art is printed twice, once on each side, and each copy fills roughly half to two-thirds of the mug's height, so the lettering is in view whichever hand holds the handle
Who it's for
Ranked climbers, backlog clearers, night-shift coders and anyone who counts a week in sessions rather than days. It suits a gamer's birthday, a holiday swap or a housewarming for a friend setting up their first desk.
Quick answers
How much of the mug does the art cover?
Not all of it. The two prints sit a quarter turn either side of the handle, and the space opposite the handle stays plain glossy ceramic. Both capacities carry the same art, scaled to fit the cup.
Is the lettering from a particular game?
No. The plaque, the burst and the pixel letters are drawn in a general 8-bit arcade style, with no character, logo or game name anywhere on the mug.
Does the starburst touch the edge of the print?
The burst fills its square block, so the outer spikes and streak tips run right up to the edges of the printed area and then stop, leaving the rest of the mug plain.
