Grace is how a good swing looks. Tempo is how it gets there.
This golf art print holds a golfer at her finish, drawn as a fine gold line figure against a fan of gold rays on deep green. Sold framed in wood, it is a calm gift for the player who would rather be smooth than long.
Gold on green: a figure, a fan of rays, two words
A field of very dark green forms the ground, a touch lighter toward its upper left corner. In the center is a small golfer, outlined in gold in a single-line style. She is seen from the hips up with her hair gathered in a bun. Her arms are folded high, and the club rests across behind her shoulders with its head tipped down to the right. It is the pose a player holds for a moment once the ball is away.
The line that shapes her continues left and right as a thin, level stroke. Out of that stroke rises a half sunburst of straight gold rays, shorter near the figure and longer beyond, in an Art Deco manner. Beneath it, condensed capitals in the same warm gold read “GRACE & TEMPO”.
The art keeps it simple: a great deal of calm green and very little line.
Framed in wood, made to hang upright
- It hangs upright: the 16″ × 20″ print (40.6 × 50.8 cm) is 16″ (40.6 cm) across and 20″ (50.8 cm) high
- The frame goes around the print, so the outside of the frame is a little larger
- The green picture covers the whole print, right up to the frame
- Partly glossy, partly matte: that is the finish of the luster photo paper, which weighs 260 g/m² and is 10 mil (0.25 mm) thick
- A clear acrylic front lies over the paper, held in a frame of ayous wood
- You get the hanging hardware with it
Who it's for
Golfers who work on rhythm before distance, the Tuesday ladies’ group, the coach who keeps saying “slow down”, and families shopping for a mother or daughter who plays. Hang it in a study, a dressing room or beside the spot where the golf bags wait. It makes a Mother’s Day present, a prize for the ladies’ day winner or a thank-you to an outgoing captain.
Quick answers
Who is it a good gift for?
A woman who plays golf is the natural choice, since the figure wears her hair in a bun. It also suits any player, coach or club that values an unhurried, balanced swing.
What does the gold line look like up close?
It is a flat printed gold tone, the same finish as the rest of the sheet.
Does it need other golf decor around it?
Not at all. Two colors and a few fine lines keep it quiet, so it can hang alone in an entryway, a bedroom or an office.
How should I dust it?
Our suggestion: pass a dry microfiber cloth over the acrylic now and then, and pick a wall away from kitchens and bathrooms.
