LAKE above TITICACA and the line THE HIGHEST NAVIGABLE LAKE IN THE WORLD are set between diamond-tipped rules in the clear blue above the clouds, worked in golden yellow, cobalt, sky blue, cream and plum. Which size should I order? The 18″ × 24″ is the safe default for most walls. Take the 12″ × 18″ for a desk, a shelf or as part of a gallery cluster, and the 24″ × 36″ when the poster is meant to be the focal point of the room.

Is that a real kind of boat? Yes — it is a balsa de totora, a boat made from bundled totora reeds that the Uros people of Lake Titicaca still build today. The lake sits at roughly 3,800 metres (about 12,500 feet) on the border of Peru and Bolivia and is widely described as the highest navigable lake in the world.
