Are the lemons on the poster a real thing in Limone sul Garda?
Yes. Limone sul Garda sits on the western shore of Lake Garda in Lombardy and has grown lemons in terraced stone-pillared lemon houses, the limonaie, since at least the 18th century — among the northernmost citrus groves in Europe. The town was reachable only by boat or mountain path until the lakeside road opened in the 1930s, which is why it still reads as a village pinned between the cliff and the water.
