Every table has a mascot. This one has claimed the six of bamboo.

This mahjong tee for women is for the player who loves cats almost as much as the game. The Bamboo Cat artwork shows a fluffy cat hugging a big bamboo tile, drawn in a clean, cheerful cartoon style.

The artwork: a cat with its favorite tile

A cream-white cat with green eyes and a coral collar with a little gold bell peeks over the top of a large six-bamboo tile, paws resting on its edge and tail curled around the side. BAMBOO and CAT sit to the left in teal letters. The print sits on the upper chest, about 5.9 inches wide and 6 inches tall, with a plain back.

The tee: cozy as a cat on the rack

Comfort first, like any self-respecting cat. The cotton is soft and smooth, with enough weight to feel cozy without getting warm, and the regular cut leaves room to stretch across the table for a discard. It is pre-shrunk and has taped shoulders, so the neckline stays neat even if a real cat makes your lap its seat. A little more than a basic tee, for a shirt that stays a favorite.

• 100% combed cotton, 5.3 oz/yd² (180.25 g/m²): mid-weight and breathable, so it feels substantial without getting warm.
• Pre-shrunk fabric: the shrinking happens before it reaches you, so order your usual size.
• Regular fit, crew neck with a ribbed collar: not boxy and not tight; the stretchy rib keeps the neckline round.
• Side seams, shoulder-to-shoulder taping, double-needle sleeves and hem: side seams keep it from twisting after washing, the taping stops the neckline stretching, and double stitching keeps the hems flat.
• Printed on the front, direct to the garment: soft to the touch and part of the shirt, not a sticker on top.
• Choose Bone (a warm off-white), Natural (a soft cream) or White; the teal lettering and the cat's dark outline stay clear on all three.

Who it's for

The cat lover whose own cat naps on the tile box, the friend who names every bamboo tile after a pet, and anyone who likes their mahjong a little playful. Wear it to game night, a club afternoon or a lazy weekend at home. It is a cute mahjong gift for a birthday, Mother's Day or the holidays.

Quick answers

Which tile is the cat holding?

A six-bamboo tile, with two rows of green bamboo sticks. No particular style of mahjong is named.

Does the cat show up on the White shirt?

Yes. The cat is cream with a dark teal outline, so its shape, face and bell stay clear on White as well as on Bone and Natural.

Is it a good gift for a cat person who plays?

That is exactly who it is for: one cat, one tile and two words, about 5.9 inches wide and 6 inches tall on the upper chest.

Care

Machine wash cold, inside out, on a gentle cycle with mild detergent and similar colors. Use non-chlorine bleach only when necessary, and skip fabric softeners. Tumble dry on low or hang dry. If ironing is needed, use a cool iron on the inside and keep it away from the printed artwork. Do not dry clean.
