Even the joystick is flying: it is racing a rocket across the sky on a trail of flame.

This rocket blanket mixes space-age cartoon fun with arcade gear, sending a joystick and a rocket streaking up a white field, with pixel-edged lettering in the corner that reads like a level-up call. It is a soft couch throw for a gaming room with a retro comic streak.

The design: a joystick and a rocket flying side by side

A chunky joystick box with engraved shading lines is the first flyer: a steel-blue body, a black stick topped with a red ball and five round red buttons, all driving up and to the right on a jagged yellow-and-red flame trail that streams out behind it. Above it, a cartoon rocket with a steel-blue body, red nose cone, red fins and a round white porthole follows the same path on a flame of its own.

Gold eight-point stars in several sizes, small gold dots and bands of grey horizontal speed lines fill the white background. At the lower right, chunky pixel-edged cream letters with a thick black drop shadow sit on a cream outline panel. It is flat, inky and cartoonish, a mid-century space-age comic more than a glowing neon poster.

A soft throw that goes in the wash

• The polyester has a silk-touch finish, so it feels smooth when you pull it over your lap.
• Only the front carries the print, and the back is plain white.
• Toss it in the washing machine whenever it needs a refresh.
• The fabric is hypoallergenic, which helps if your skin is easily irritated.
• It is flame retardant, a small extra safeguard for a couch throw.

Who it's for

Space-race fans, joystick lovers and anyone who likes their game corner a little cartoonish. Drape it over a sofa, fold it on a bed or tuck it into a reading chair. It also suits a gamer who loves anything space, whether tucked into a holiday swap or given for no reason at all.

Quick answers

Does every size show the whole design?

On the 60″×80″ nearly everything shows. The 50″×60″ trims the tip of the rocket nose, an upper fin and the joystick box edge, and the 30″×40″ cuts the flame trail at the left. Joystick, rocket and lettering stay readable on all three.

Is this a real space blanket?

No. It is a decorative couch throw in soft polyester, not a foil emergency blanket, and it is not made for survival or outdoor safety use.

How thick is it?

No weight or thickness figure is published for it, so we cannot quote one. Treat it as a soft couch throw for cool evenings; anyone after a bulky cold-weather layer should pick something heavier.
