One small pineapple, one tiny umbrella, both arms up like the weekend just started.

Pineapple Parasol is a pineapple bag with a little sunshine built in: a cheerful cartoon fruit printed on the front of a roomy square tote. It works as a summer tote bag for the pool, the market or the boardwalk, and it is an easy present for the friend who brightens every group chat.

The design: a smiling pineapple on its own strip of beach

At the center stands a kawaii-style pineapple with a face: two big, shiny black eyes, round pink cheeks and a small open smile. Its golden-yellow body is crossed with an orange diamond pattern, a crown of green leaves fans out on top, and two little arms are thrown up in the air, with a small shadow at its feet. With it comes a small paper umbrella in pink, yellow and green segments on a thin stick, the kind that usually decorates a summer drink or gets planted in the sand as a toy parasol.

A leafy green plant grows on either side, four-point sparkles and fine pale-yellow speckles float around the scene, and a loose speckled edge squares it off. Underneath runs a sand-colored strip with a red starfish resting at the right-hand end. A cheerful three-word slogan in rounded, chunky capitals finishes the picture: two words arched across the top in pale yellow, the last one in white on the sand.

The whole scene sits as a centered square on the white front of the bag with clear space around it, drawn in warm yellows and oranges with green, a sandy beige and small touches of red and pink.

A pineapple bag sized for a towel, snacks and a paperback

• The body is 100% polyester and measures 15″ × 15″ (39 × 39 cm), so a folded towel and a book sit side by side
• 10 L (2.6 US gal) of space inside, about a day out's worth: sunscreen, a water bottle, fruit and a spare shirt
• The weight limit is 44 lb (20 kg), well past what a towel, a paperback and lunch add up to
• Two handles in 100% natural cotton bull denim, each 26″ (67 cm) long and 1″ (2.5 cm) wide, long enough to hang from your shoulder
• The handles on your bag may differ slightly from the pair in the photos

Who it's for

Beach-day planners, pool-bag packers, pineapple collectors and anyone whose kitchen already has a pineapple or two on the shelf. Take it to the farmers market, a picnic in the park or a long weekend away. Bring it to a summer birthday, fill it for a housewarming, or hand it over as a bon-voyage surprise before a friend flies somewhere warm.

Quick answers

Is there a drink or a cocktail in the picture?

No. The art shows the pineapple, the paper umbrella, two plants, a starfish and sand. The umbrella is the only wink at summer drinks, so the bag suits a smoothie regular as much as a beach lover.

Does the print cover the whole bag?

No. The artwork is a square block in the middle of the front, with plain fabric left around it. The photos show the front of the bag only.

Will my bag match the size guide exactly?

Laid flat, the bag measures about 15.75″ wide by 15.35″ high (40 × 39 cm). Individual bags can vary by up to 1″ (2.5 cm).

Is the pineapple a character from a show or game?

No. It is not taken from any show, game or brand. It is simply a happy piece of fruit with a face, so feel free to give it a name of your own.
