One bean in the middle, and rings going around it like a record.
This spiral mug is for those who take their coffee seriously and like their kitchen shelf in plain black and white. Keep it next to the grinder for yourself, or hand one to the friend who weighs out beans before saying good morning.
The design: a lone coffee bean inside the swirl
In the middle stands a single coffee bean, drawn solid black and upright. Its S-shaped crease is left white, and a thin white curve along the left side gives it a little shine. The bean rests in a plain white disc, like a clearing.
Around that disc runs a wide round band of about a dozen thin black rings. They are not ruler-neat: each line swells and thins on its way around, and some run into their neighbors, so the band seems to turn like ripples in a cup or the grooves of a spinning record. Two short brush-like arcs break into the white disc, one at the upper left and one at the lower right, and the outer edge is a slightly uneven circle with a hand-drawn feel.
There are no words and no extra colors. It is flat, graphic op-art with a retro-style nod, and it tells anyone standing at the counter one simple thing: in this kitchen, the bean sits at the center of everything.
A glossy spiral mug for everyday pours
- Glossy white ceramic, a clean backdrop for the black linework
- Printed twice, once per side, so the bean shows whichever hand you drink with
- Microwave safe, handy when a coffee goes cold mid-morning
- Dishwasher safe, which keeps the after-coffee chores short
Who it's for
Home baristas, pour-over tinkerers, café regulars and fans of graphic design who want a mug without a slogan on it. It suits a monochrome kitchen, a studio desk or the office shelf where mugs tend to wander off. Hand it over at a housewarming, a coffee friend's birthday or a holiday exchange, or leave it on the desk of the coworker who always makes the next pot.
Quick answers
Are there any words on the mug?
No. The print is a picture only, with no slogan, name or logo, so nobody has to agree with a joke to enjoy it. Tea drinkers are welcome too.
Is it one continuous spiral?
Not quite. Follow the lines up close and you will find many separate rings rather than a single coil. The swirling look comes from the way each ring changes thickness as it travels.
What does the mug look like from the front?
Seen straight on, with the handle at the back, the middle is plain and only the edges of the two prints show. The full picture faces out to the left and to the right.
Which one fits under my coffee machine?
Measure the gap under the spout, then compare it with the heights in the size guide. Each option is listed by the ounces it holds, and the guide gives the diameter as well.
Is this a coffee shop's logo?
No. It is a generic drawing of a coffee bean with no café, roaster or brand attached to it.
