The steep part of the trail, parked on your couch.
Somebody in your house knows what low range is for, and this truck pillow is theirs: Mountain Sun Off-Roader catches a lifted off-road pickup tipping its hood skyward on a hard grade. The filling comes already zipped inside, so it goes from the box to the den, the cabin or a wrapped present without another errand.
The design: an emblem for the uphill stretch
The picture sits in the middle of the cover like a patch on a jacket, with open fabric on every side. Its backdrop is a large orange disc crossed by thin pale bands, the way a late sun looks through haze. Across the lower part of that disc runs a saw-tooth line of mountains in deep navy, their steep faces left bare so they read as snow, and a single orange dot floats to the left and to the right of the disc.
Down in front is the reason for the whole thing: a pickup on a tall suspension, drawn in navy outline with unfilled panels and pitched so sharply that its hood aims at the upper corner of the pillow. Chunky tread wraps each tire, a row of small lights rides the roof, and one clump of grass pokes out beneath the leading wheel. It stands in for whatever rig is in your own driveway.
Over the top of the sun, two words in bold condensed capitals follow the curve of the disc and finish with an exclamation mark, the kind of send-off you would shout out the window at the trailhead. Flat shapes, hard edges and only two inks give the scene the look of a retro outdoor emblem.
Ready for boots-off evenings
- 100% polyester throughout, the cover as well as the filling it wraps
- Cover cloth weighs 6.49–7.37 oz/yd² (220–250 g/m²)
- A shape-retaining insert is packed in, so the pillow is usable the day it lands and keeps its form through a long movie night
- The closure is a zipper tucked out of view in a seam, which keeps the closure out of sight next to the picture
- Trail dust on the cover? Pull the insert and run the cover through the washer; the insert itself gets a hand wash only
Who it's for
Trail drivers, overlanders, weekend wrenchers and the kid who has wanted a lifted truck since the first toy one. Park it on the den sofa, a cabin bunk made up for guests, the chair in a garage office or the bench in a camper. It works as a thank-you for the friend who winched you out, a retirement present for a lifelong truck owner, or a small surprise the week a new rig comes home.
Quick answers
Which shape shows the truck largest?
The two squares. On them the emblem takes up the middle of the cover. The long rectangle carries the complete picture at a reduced scale, centered, with bare fabric left over at each end.
Can it ride along in the truck?
For a drive, sure; one of our photos has it propped on a back seat. It is made as a decorative pillow for dry, indoor spots, so don't leave it in an open bed or out in the rain.
Will my pillow match the chart to the inch?
Close, not exact. The figures are taken with the pillow lying flat, and a finished one can come out as much as 1″ (2.5 cm) over or under them.
Does it only belong in a rustic room?
Not at all. Two ink colors and flat shapes on an otherwise bare cover make it a graphic accent more than lodge decor. A plain modern sofa suits it as much as plaid and timber do.
