A white horse with a single slim horn on its forehead gallops toward the left in profile, front legs tucked and raised as if it has just cleared the clouds. Two huge feathered wings sweep up and back behind it, their white feathers shaded with navy and gray-blue. A long mane blows back from its neck, and the tail streams out behind until it curls into the painted sky.

That sky is the other half of the picture. Thick, sweeping strokes wind into a big spiral at the upper left in orange, magenta, blue and green, while long ribbons of orange, red, yellow, teal and purple trail behind the wings. Curling, wave-like scrolls fill the lower right, and puffy cream clouds drift along the left edge and the bottom.
