The design is drawn flat — an eye-level view up a cobbled lane, with a bicycle leaning on a low stone wall at the left, terracotta pots of white, pink and red flowers along both sides, honey-stone houses with green louvred shutters closing in on either hand and pink bougainvillea climbing the right-hand facade, a wrought-iron lantern on the wall of the house beside it. Where is Valldemossa, and what is it known for?
